This research aims to creative story writing skills of primary school fourth grade students. In this research, qualitative model and action research was used. The study group of the research consists of 29 primary school fourth grade students studying in the city of Uşak. Participants were determined by an easily accessible sampling technique. Quantitative data of the research were obtained by "pretest, posttest and retention tests". Qualitative data were collected with the form of "Determining the opinions of primary school fourth grade students about writing creative stories". Quantitative data obtained for the first and second sub problems of the study were determined by dependent groups t-test. The qualitative data obtained for the third sub-problem were obtained by content analysis. As a result of the research, it is seen that there is a significant increase in the post-test scores of the students according to the pre-test scores. It is possible to say that this increase is permanent. Qualitative data of the research are compatible with quantitative data. During the interview, the students stated that they enjoyed the application, found it beneficial, and changed their positive attitude towards writing a creative story.
