Industrial Revolution 4.0, as one of the main paradigms of the modern economy, requires higher education to straighten up to face this trend. Surabaya State University (UNESA) emphasizes the development of human resources (HR) as the main target of internal development in order to deal with industry 4.0. The academic community is encouraged to be sensitive to technology, by increasing intellectual capacity through civilization, training, competition, and / or schools. The study aims to identify the readiness of UNESA in facing challenges of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The implication of this research is to enrich the education management research about linking strategy between higher education and industry demand. The result showed that UNESA had moderate readiness in facing the challenges of Industrial Revolution 4.0 by deepening of intellectual capacity in the IT field through improving campus facilities and infrastructure, and procuring new learning technologies. Networking development with private sector is also becomes useful strategy in linking HR with the IT world related to Industry 4.0. Such a strategic effort under the prevailing laws and regulations enable UNESA to advance in pioneering the development of industry 4.0 on campus, especially for creating qualified graduates.
There has been a lot of talk lately about a green culture, because of the scale of the consequences of global warming. One of the facts that we experience as a result of global warming is the increasing temperature of our environment. Global warming is the impact of human activities that are more related to business than environmental protection. Global warming is not only warming, but also has a bad impact that anyone can see and feel. When the earth's temperature continues to increase, it will have adverse effects that are interrelated with one another. Global warming will affect the earth's conditions in an extreme way. To anticipate the worsening global warming, the local government cooperates with the University in Surabaya in an effort to carry out socialization related to efforts to prevent global warming. Many efforts have been made by the State University of Surabaya as a form of preventing global warming. Among the efforts that have been made by UNESA in reducing global warming, including UNESA doing greening in the campus environment this is done as a form of reducing global warming. The urgency of this community service is motivated by the problem of global warming which has not been resolved until now. Through the UNESA LPPM program in this community service scheme. This PKM research team seeks to provide socialization to the community, especially UNESA students to move to protect the surrounding environment, in order to reduce global warming. In addition, the output targets in this Community Service include: Articles of publications, publications of mass media, products.
Budget traveling has developed to become a potential niche market in the hospitality industry as an increasing number of backpackers and domestic tourists with limited disposable income. This niche market has grown to become a multi-billion dollar market globally as its ability to develop the economy through more job opportunity, enforce small accommodation service with low overhead-cost and shift local product increase of destination country such as Virtual Hotel Operators (VHO). This business model provides rented accommodation in which services are accessible on the official website and mobile application. As a marketplace, it enables guest and hotel operators to meet, deal, and finalize accommodation booking transactions online. This study analyzes the influence of experiential marketing, experience engagement, reference group and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention of VHO consumers. The result shows a positive relationship between experiential marketing, experience engagement, VHO consumer reference groups, customer satisfaction, and purchase intention. These results support previous research investigating a so-called "experience profile," which consumer summarize and evaluate memory experiences by combining their sequential experiences received by their senses which provided by company’s experiential marketing channels.
Online learning has both positive and negative impacts. One of the positive impacts of online education is that students know about the use of information technology, in this case, online learning media. While one of the negative impacts is that students experience academic stress. This research aims to determine the level of academic stress during online learning for students at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa). The study involves one independent variable, namely the quality of learning, and one dependent variable, namely academic stress. The sampling method is a simple random sample where the total number of respondents obtained was 329 people. The author uses regression analysis to determine the effect of learning quality on student academic stress. The analysis results show that the quality of learning is good, and the level of academic stress of FEB Unesa students is moderate
