Abstract. An observation was performed to evaluate the performance of direct injection stationary diesel engine which used a blends of biodiesel of Sunan pecan seed. The experiments were done with diesel oil, B5, B10, B15 and B20 in the engine speed variety. Results showed that the values of torque, power and thermal efficiency tend to decrease when the engine is using B5, B10, B15 and B20 , compared to diesel oil. It also shown that the specific fuel consumption is increased when using B5, B10, B15 and B20. From the results of experiments and calculations, the maximum power of 3.08 kW, minimum specific fuel consumption of 189.93 g/kWh and maximum thermal efficiency of 45.53% when engine using diesel oil. However, exhaust gases were measured include opacity, carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon when the engine using biodiesel B5, B10, B15 and B20 decreased.
The literature review is a review of several published journals on a particular topic. Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a method that has been widely used in research in various fields and continues to grow, so it is important to review this method to get the most common topics solved. LSS is an ongoing improvement methodology with the aim of reduce costs for producing poor quality, reduce waste of non-value-added activities and increase value for consumers and company. The purpose of this review is to find out the objective of using LSS, the tools used in implementing LSS in the manufacturing industry and to identify the factors that have caused the company’s failure to implement LSS.
Due to consider the consumer needs, there is a significant amount of researches about SSCM. The integration of sustainability and SCM is very important to be studied deeply. This paper contains results of analysing content about assessing all journal studies systematically in SSCM literatures which published from 2018 to 2019. Performance of company in economic, environmental and social scope could be analysed by using Sustainable Supply Chain Management. Researches that have done also investigating factors that support SSCM practice. The researchers are positioned to speak to the issue that unexplored to the field of SCM such as policy implications of existing work.
