This research aimed to describe early marriage in Jebres Sub District, Surakarta City. This study was a descriptive qualitative research on the people in Jebres Sub District, Surakarta City. The informants consisted of Lurah (Village Head), chairperson of PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment), Religion Figure, Public Figure, Youth Figure, Marriage Registering Officer, Rw Chief, Rt Chief,, Chairperson of Religion Affairs Office of Jebres Sub District, and Chairperson of Religion Ministry of Surakarta City. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of research showed that early marriage was conducted due to instrumental rational action value rational action, affective action, traditional action, in the form of focusing on working to support family as the form of responsibility to family after married as family and environment consider that early marriage is a way out of sin due to free sex among adolescents, biological impulse of sexual need thereby having sexual intercourse before marriage leading to pregnancy. Family made early marriage the solution to the problem of pregnancy before marriage.
Environmental knowledge has been learned formally in schools including universities and informally through lineage, the community, and the media. Knowledge, attitudes, and practices is a survey technique used to measure the phenomenon of human life as well as its impact on behavior and how it contributes to environmental management. The objective of this research is to examine the relationship between university students' environmental knowledge and attitudes, practices, and their contribution to behavior change. It was conducted at Indraprasta University PGRI-Jakarta, Indonesia, with a sample size of 137 students, 49 undergraduates of biology education, and 88 postgraduates of mathematics and natural science. In addition, the data analysis method used is a Statistical Non-parametric Bivariate Pearson Correlation. The research concluded that 63 percent of students learned environmental knowledge formally from schools, 15 percent from non-formal education, and 22 percent by both formal and non-formal means. Moreover, the students' understanding did not contribute to their attitude but encouraged their practices significantly. Furthermore, their attitude did not influence the implementation within their real life, but those who practice the information can promote environmentally friendly behaviors.
Surat-e:Modul fisika berbasis metakognisi masih kurang digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Padahal modul fisika materi momentum, impuls, dan hukum kekekalan momentum berbasis metakognisi sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Modul fisika ini dimaksudkan untuk membantu guru dalam menerapkan metakognisi pada kegiatan belajar mengajar, mengatasi keterbatasan ruang dan waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) menghasilkan modul fisika materi momentum dan impuls berbasis metakognisi, 2) mengetahui kualitas modul fisika materi momentum dan impuls berbasis metakognisi yang dikembangkan.Penelitian pengembangan modul fisika ini sesuai dengan langkah-langkah Research and Development (R&D). Langkah-langkah yang dilalui meliputi dua aspek yaitu pengembangan modul dan kelayakan. Pengembangan modul meliputi: 1) potensi dan masalah; 2) pengumpulan data; 3) desain produk; 4) validasi produk; 5) revisi desain. Kemudian kelayakan modul meliputi: 1) uji coba produk; dan 2) revisi desain. Subjek peneliti adalah ahli materi fisika, ahli media, guru fisika SMA kelas XI, dan siswa kelas XI SMA/MA. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) telah dihasilkan modul fisika materi momentum, impuls dan hukum kekekalan momentum berbasis metakognisi; 2) kualitas modul fisika materi momentum, impuls dan hukum kekekalan momentum berbasis metakognisi adalah sangat baik (SB) dengan persentase 80,62% berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, berdasarkan ahli media 81,25%, berdasarkan guru fisika SMA kelas XI 77,78% dan berdasarkan uji pengguna (siswa) dengan persentase 87,36%. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut, maka modul fisika materi momentum dan impuls berbasis metakognisi yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan di dalam proses belajar mengajar. The improvement quality of oil palm trunk could be done by compression. As based on to determining of compressing level, it was need to study the density distribution and stress-strain curve of oil palm wood. The three of oil palm trunk at 23 years old were cut. The specimen for density distribution was taken from 1 m, 3 m and 5 m of height of oil palm wood with dimension 2 cm x 2 cm x 2 cm. The interval of it was 2 cm from the outer on the left to the right side. Then the specimen for stress-strain curve was taken from 1 m of height with interval of 2 cm from the outer to center of trunk. These specimens were taken at water saturated conditions. The result showed that density of oil palm wood was around 0.19-0.43 g/cm 3 . The density distribution at outer side was high, then decreasing toward the center of trunk. The compressing level increased from the outer side to the center of oil palm trunk. In the outer side of oil palm trunk can be compressing until 58% and the center side can be compressed until 71%.
