Integrating technology into learning and instruction processes is inevitable in this modern world, so it is of pivotal importance that all teachers should master TPACK confidently. Unfortunately, the approaches toward teacher education programs in many countries, specifically in Indonesia, do not yet integrate TPACK in the curriculum. This study aimed at comparing pre-service civic education teachers’ TPACK confidence across three course modes—Regular A, B, and C—of a pre-service teacher education program in Indonesia. Involving 90 pre-service civic education teachers, a self-report measure survey is used as the research method. The result revealed that Regular A and C pre-service civic education teachers report an almost equal level of TPACK confidence while the Regular B pre-service civic education teachers report a lower level of TPACK confidence. Academic and practical implications of these findings are discussed, and insights for future teacher education programs are provided.
This research aims to determine the ability of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) preservice teachers Civic education Pamulang University. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a survey approach. The research subject amounted to 63 students. The results showed that the ability of TPACK has a very important role in improving the ability of preservice teachers in the revolution of the 4.0 industry, besides the analysis results demonstrated the ability of TPACK Preservice teachers Civic education on group A superior to the group B. Therefore, TPACK's capabilities need to be upgraded and supported by various parties to create an education that can produce future qualified teachers.
Millennial generation students need to be equipped with adequate digital literacy in order to face the industrial revolution 4.0. Unfortunately, students' digital literacy particularly related to the 21 st century learning abilities is relatively low. This article critically discusses digital literacy massive open online courses (DL-MOOCs) need developments in higher education, including; 1) the need of digital literacy for academic purposes; 2) the development of MOOCs around the world and in Indonesia; 3) 21 st century learning abilities of millennial generation students. Study in this article is the result of preliminary research using literature review and survey methods involving 245 first-year millennial generation university students. The results revealed that; 1) digital literacy for academic purposes is needed since ample digital information has been utilised as learning resources and the learning process in higher education have commonly conducted in a digital environment; 2) the development of MOOCs opens extensive opportunities to be used as a massive, open, and online learning platform to improve digital literacy of millennial generation students; and 3) 21 st century learning abilities of millennial generation students are very low in the components of creative collaborator and innovative designer. These results indicate the urgency of MOOCs developments that focus on digital literacy for academic purposes.
Para remaja kerap kali melakukan kenakalan yang dapat melanggar aturan, dalam melakukan perbuatan yang nakal para remaja belum memiliki kesadaran akan dampak kenakalan yang dilakukan yang dapat mengancam masa depannya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya penyuluhan tentang dampak kenakalan remaja dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap bahaya kenakalan remaja. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan kepada remaja di Pulau Untung Jawa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kesadaran remaja tentang bahaya kenakalan remaja yang dapat merusak masa depannya, selama kegiatan ini para remaja cukup antusias dalam melakukan konsultasi terhadap masalah yang ada dalam dirinya sehingga dengan adanya keterbukaan membuat remaja dapat melewati permasalahan dalam dirinya tanpa melakukan perilaku nakal yang dapat merusak dirinya. Maka dari itu perlu adanya kerjasama semua pihak untuk mencegah masalah kenakalan remaja meliputi orangtua, sekolah, dan masyarakat.
Technological advances not only have a positive impact on people's lives, but misuse of technology can cause social problems. One of the consequences of technology misuse is the phenomenon of divorce due to an affair between husband and wife that can be recorded through social media. The purpose of this study seeks to know the efforts made in preventing divorce due to social media abuse in a Sociological perspective. This research uses qualitative research methods with phenomenological approach, data processing using Nvivo 12. The results showed that divorce due to social media abuse was triggered by an affair between the husband and wife through social media resulting in an ongoing altercation. Efforts to prevent divorce due to social media abuse are carried out by various parties such as efforts from couples not to divorce, families who seek to reconcile, courts that seek mediation, even the city government that actively provides socialization about family resilience rules, premarital education programs, mother's father's school program, and efforts to strengthen the functioning of the family. Efforts to prevent divorce due to social media abuse can be effectively supported by cooperation between institutions and all elements of society to strengthen family resilience Kemajuan teknologi bukan hanya berdampak positif bagi kehidupan manusia, tetapi penyalahgunaan teknologi dapat menimbulkan masalah sosial. Salah satu akibat penyalahgunaan teknologi menimbulkan fenomena maraknya perceraian akibat adanya perselingkuhan antara suami dan isteri yang dapat terekam lewat media sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan dalam mencegah perceraian akibat penyalahgunaan media sosial dalam perspektif Sosiologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, pengolahan data menggunakan Nvivo 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceraian akibat penyalahgunaan media sosial dipicu karena adanya perselingkuhan antara suami isteri lewat media sosial sehingga membuat pertengkaran yang terjadi terus menerus. Upaya pencegahan perceraian akibat penyalahgunaan media sosial dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak diantaranya upaya dari pasangan agar tidak bercerai, pihak keluarga yang berupaya mendamaikan, pihak pengadilan yang berupaya melakukan mediasi, bahkan pemerintah kota yang giat memberikan sosialisasi tentang aturan ketahanan keluarga, program pendidikan pra nikah, program sekolah ayah bunda, dan berupaya memperkuat fungsi keluarga. Upaya pencegahan perceraian akibat penyalahgunaan media sosial dapat berjalan efektif didukung dengan adanya kerjasama antar institusi beserta semua elemen masyarakat untuk memperkuat ketahanan keluarga.
