TRAINING ON MAKING ICT-BASED PHYSICS LEARNING MEDIA FOR TEACHERS IN BENGKAYANG REGENCY, WEST KALIMANTAN. Improving learning quality is a crucial factor in the implementation of learning in schools to colleges. ICT contributes greatly to the dissemination of information materials to the world. It is one of the foundations of how important it’s to introduce and train teachers on the border to be proficient in information and communication technologies. The purpose of this activity is to train physics teachers in Bengkayang Regency to make ICT-based physics learning media. The goal of this dedication is teachers of physics that are incorporated in the MGMP Physics Regency of Bengkayang, West Kalimantan. The activity is located at SMAN 1 Bengkayang. This activity starts from the preparation phase of the situation analysis and problem of the partner and administration and coordination management with partners. Furthermore, at the stage of implementation of activities conducted is to provide mentoring to the partners through the training activities of ICT-based physics learning media generation. Steps at this stage include the introduction of ICT-based learning media, ICT-based physics media-making workshops and worksheet-making workshops as complementary media usage. The final stage is the evaluation of measuring the level of understanding and skills of participants after taking the training obtained from pretest, postest and observation sheet and designing the sustainability of the training program. From PKM activities that have been conducted, the planning and utilization training of ICT-based media learning for physics teachers in Bengkayang Regency, it can be concluded that the resource capacity is the teacher has increased. It is characterized by increased understanding of teachers about ICT-based learning media that can be used in teaching physics. In addition, teachers have been able to use Phet Simulation media and have been able to create Android applications on the concept of physics.
This study aims to examine the concept of the nature of science (NOS) and attitudes towards teaching the NOS. The research used the View on Science Education (VOSE) instrument that was developed by Chen (valid and reliable) which online distributed to students of Physics Education Program from Surabaya State University and IKIP PGRI Pontianak, as well as students of Science Program from IAIN Ponorogo. The survey research method was conducted to determine the profile of students’ views on the NOS and science education. Respondents who filled out the research questionnaire were 102 students. Based on the survey results, the VOSE profile was obtained that the Science-Physics students had difficulty conceptualizing the general picture of VOSE because in some aspects of NOS it appeared that students experienced confusion.Science-Physics students have a positive attitude towards teaching NOS in terms of tentativeness, aspect of the nature of observation, as well as aspect of theory and law.However, Science-Physics students have negative attitudes towards teaching NOS in the aspect of the scientific method. Thus, the implication of this research requires that Science-Physics students learn and further research about the concept of NOS in order to have a correct understanding.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Predict Observe Explain (POE) Pada materi gerak lurus terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang di modifikasi menjadi tujuh tahapan penelitian yaitu: 1) Potensi Dan Masalah 2) Pengumpulan data dan informasi 3) Desain Produk 4) Validasi Desain 5) Revisi Desain 6) Uji Coba Produk 7) Revisi Produk. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat di ketahui bahwa media LKS Berbasis POE Layak digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi gerak lurus di kelas X. Kelayakan LKS diperoleh dari hasil validasi berdasarkan ahli media dengan rata-rata skor 3,2 dengan kriteria layak dan berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari ahli materi dengan rata-rata skor 3,12 dengan kriteria layak. Adapun dari penilaian secara kualitatif yang berupa komentar dan saran, secara garis besar baik dari validator, dan siswa menanggapi bahwa LKS Berbasis POE pada materi gerak lurus untuk siswa kelas X SMA terbilang baik
Tulisan ilmiah yang berisi tentang hasil penelitian dan karya guru lainnya sangat potensial untuk dijadikan sebagai karya tulis ilmiah. Secara garis besar masalah yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pemahaman guru-guru mengenai cara membuat karya tulis ilmiah dan minimnya pengalaman guru-guru dalam menulis karya ilmiah dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah melalui pemaparan materi terkait cara membuat karya tulis ilmiah dan memberikan pendampingan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Indikator ketercapaian program yang dilakukan yaitu guru-guru dapat memahami cara-cara membuat karya tulis ilmiah dan guru-guru dapat menulis karya tulis ilmiah hasil penelian yang telah dilakukan. Kegiatan ini dapat mempermudah guru dalam menulis karya ilmiah hasil penelitian yang selanjutnya dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan pembelajaran di kelas sekaligus untuk pengajuan kenaikan pangkat. Pendampingan akan dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu pembekalan dan pelatihan. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu tutorial dan pendekatan kegiatan dilakukan secara kolaboratif -partisipatif. Pada tahap pertama, guru akan diberikan materi mengenai cara menulis artikel ilmiah dari hasil hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Pada tahap kedua guru akan dilatih untuk menulis arikel hasil penelitian sampai pada cek kemiripan. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu guru-guru di SMA Negeri 1 Selakau. Beradasarkan hasil analisis data pretes dan postes yang diberikan, diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Berdasarkan angket respon kepuasan mitra, diketahui bahwa secara umum peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan yang telah dilakukan.
This study aims to 1) Produce instructional textbook of physics education based on constructivistic approach, and 2) Knowing the quality of textbooks in terms of feasibility aspects of content, feasibility of presentation, language feasibility and feasibility grafika according to experts. This research is an R & D research with procedural model that adapted the procedure of ADDIE development which consists of three stages: analysis, design, and development. The research instrument is in the form of scale of textbook quality assessment using Likert scale made in the form of checlist. The subjects of textbook quality assessment are three material experts and three media experts. Textbook quality data obtained in the form of quantitative data is converted by product quality percentage scale. The result of this research are: (1) Developed instructional product in the form of textbook based on constructivistic approach as learning material of physics education evaluation in accordance with KKNI curriculum, and (2) The quality of textbook developed has excellent quality (SB) based on assessment of material experts with a percentage of 84.05% of ideal high score 148, and excellent quality (SB) based on media expert's judgment with a percentage of 82.56% of the ideal high score of 80.Keywords: textbooks, physical education evaluations, constructivistically
