LoRaWAN communication allows you to create IoT (Internet of Things) solutions across many disciplines. A specific field of application is precision agriculture, which demands this technology mainly due to the fact that it is possible to create low power sensor devices with it. However, in densely populated areas, a lower success rate of message delivery can be observed on some communication channels. For example, this can have an impact on urban agriculture projects. After performing an experiment and analytical–statistical data processing using the Geographic Information System (GIS) tool ArcGIS Insights, it was shown that the success of message delivery on the basic LoRaWAN channel (868.3 MHz) is lower than for the others. Therefore, to ensure higher reliability and thus energy savings, it is appropriate to optimize the use of frequency channels.
People are getting more and more used to consume a digital, online content. Many outlets switched to online publication or at least increased their online presence. Besides, online publication is not the only domain of publishing houses. Many different organisations and companies-including those from area of agriculture and rural development-provide online content in form of articles. Importance of semantic web is growing constantly. Together with metadata descriptions, it is necessary for all the current search engines, smart assistants and AI technologies. Public standards and open source software can significantly speed up development and reduce costs when it comes to the Internet and World Wide Web. The paper provides overview of an updated methodology for creation, storage and presentation of online information content in World Wide Web environment. The latest research was focused mainly on presentation and semantics. The whole research process is established as well as the final formulation of the methodology.
KÁNSKÁ, E., JAROL ÍMEK, J., HLAVSA T., ŠIMEK, P., VANĚK, J., VOGELTANZOVÁ, T.: Using social networks as an integration tool in rural areas of the Czech Republic -agricultural enterprises. Acta univ. agric. et silvic. Mendel. Brun., 2012, LX, No. 4, pp. 173-180
The paper provides an overview of a methodology for creation, storage and presentation of online information content (in World Wide Web environment). It is primarily intended to be utilized by open source content management systems and applications for publication of articles, news, papers etc. Open source software and, in particular, content management systems are broadly used in areas such as agriculture, rural development, public and non-profit sector. The methodology covers processes of content creation and updating in general, storage structure and presentation with consideration for sharing and exchanging possibilities. Authors can benefit from easier content creation process as well as consistent output visibility in real time. Structured and standardized storage structure can simplify development of modules, extensions or application libraries. Moreover, the process of CMS (or application) upgrade or transition to a different one which utilizes the methodology and its standards can be simplified and accelerated as well. Finally, the methodology can bring economic benefits by acceleration of CMS development and publication process.
Sentiment analysis is currently the most actively researched topic in the field of natural language processing, however, despite it being such a powerful tool, it is not very widely used in the agrarian sector. This research focuses on the discovery and analysis of scientific literature related to Sentiment analysis in agriculture, to provide an overview of how and where Sentiment analysis is used in the agrarian sector and which methods are most commonly used. This article also discusses which applications of Sentiment analysis yield the most benefits and suggests a direction for future research.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
