Calculation and analysis of reliability of power output circuits of Boguchany Dam has been performed, which allows to identify types of accidents, to determine the frequency of their occurrence and the terms of liquidation for them. With the help of the obtained values of frequencies and duration of accidents, it is possible to determine the relative undersupply of energy to consumers and reduction of electric power generation by the station, which makes it possible to estimate the value of mathematical expectation of economic damage.
The paper examines the impact of distributed generation facilities on the operating parameters of Iraq’s 33/11 kV distribution networks. The performed calculation of steady-state and post-emergency modes in the RastrWin3 software package showed that the networks are overloaded and therefore the voltage and power losses in the nodes and branches reach their limits. It was revealed that the most optimal technical measure that increases the voltage level in the load nodes and reduces power losses in the branches is the use of distributed generation, which includes diesel power plants and solar plants. The calculated operation modes considering connection of photo-diesel power stations to the network showed that the voltage and power losses in the nodes and branches of the circuit were significantly reduced
This article describes a systematic approach in assessing the potential of energy saving, based on the universal model of technocenosis. A rank analysis of retrospective data on energy consumption was carried out, a mathematical model of power consumption was obtained. The procedures of interval estimation of the rank parametric distribution are carried out and the objects of establishment needs are determined, which power consumption is not included in the boundaries of statistical norms. With the help of cluster procedures, technocenological norms of power consumption are calculated. Based on the theory of structural and topological dynamics of the rank parametric distribution, the predicted power consumption is determined. The energy saving potential has been calculated and the objects of economic needs have been identified, where the implementation of measures aimed at energy saving is first necessary.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
