Entering the Industrial Revolution 4.0 as of now there are still many earthenware craft industries that are traditional, both in terms of equipment and materials, procedures for making, and layout of facilities. Layout facility is one of many factors to determining factors of level of productivity workers. If arranged more modern, then the work operation becomes more effective and efficient so that the productivity of the industry will increase. The purpose of this research is redesign the layout of the earthenware craft industry facilities which are modern and having good work environment, improve the work quality of the workers, and increase the profitability of the earthenware craft industry itself. The stage of this research starts from determining the alternative layout of the best facilities, analyzing the layout of the facility using the 5S Method, and analyzing the productivity of the facility layout with the concept of Green Productivity. The results achieved from this research are the best facility layout found in alternative 1, where percentage reduction in path length reached 40% of initial layout. 5S analysis results have a positive impact for time of production process earthenware by reduction in processing time is 42,75% and the electricity savings reduce electricity costs 55,02%. Rate of productivity in this earthenware craft industry has increased by 2.31%.
The development of the broadband internet access business is getting tighter these days, encouraging companies to prioritize service quality to achieve predetermined goals and objectives. IndiHome service is one of the internet access services from PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia whose access network is managed by PT Telkom Akses. PT Telkom Akses is Telkom's commitment to continue to develop unlimited broadband networks for all Indonesian people. Based on the data, there are 10.751 IndiHome services that are disrupted, with the results of the analysis using the Six Sigma method, it is known that the sigma level is 3.90 with the possibility of service being interrupted by 8,696 in a million possibilities, there are three potential Critical to Quality potentials, namely Disconnected Outdoor Cables (47,29%), Defective Splitters (31,84%), and Home Cable Installation (20,87%).
Limbah Cair Kelapa Sawit (Palm Oil Mill Effluent/POME) merupakan salah satu sumber yang berpotensi untuk diolah menjadi biogas karena kandungan gas metana yang tinggi. Selain itu ketersediaan limbah cair kelapa sawit ini cukup memadai seiring dengan berkembangnya industri minyak kelapa sawit di Indonesia. Pada tahun 2014, luas kebun kelapa sawit mencapai 10,9 Ha dengan produksi 29,3 juta ton CPO. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh pH dan pengadukan pada digester untuk mendapatkan hasil biogas yang optimal. Percobaan dilakukan dengan membuat digester bervolume 3 L, dioperasikan pada temperatur kamar, dengan mevariasikan pH 7,5 ;8 dan 8,5, waktu fermentasi 7, 10, 13, 15 dan 17 hari dan memakai digester berpengaduk dan tidak berpengaduk. Pada larutan ditambahkan NaOH sebagai pengatur pH larutan agar sesuai dengan kondisi yang diinginkan. Kondisi yang paling baik dalam menghasilkan biogas adalah pH 8,5 waktu fermentasi 13 hari dengan digester berpengaduk, dengan konsentrasi biogas sebesar 195,41 ppm. CV. Rule Athallah adalah tempat dimana produksi industri rumahan yang terkenal dengan produk olahan makanan yang terbuat dari ikan lele. Permasalahan yang dialami Rule Athallah adalah jumlah produksi yang belum optimal sehingga keuntungan menjadi tidak maksimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara mengoptimalkan produksi produk kerupuk dan kemplang ikan lele. Didalam penelitian ini data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder melalui wawancara langsung. Mulai dari Metode analisis Linear Programming yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Simpleks dengan cara perhitungan manual dan alat bantu software POM-QM For Windows. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa produksi produk belum optimal dan keuntungan juga belum maksimal. Tingkat produksi produk kerupuk yang optimal adalah 42 Kg dengan jumlah pack yang di dapatkan sebanyak 280 Pack, sedangkan produksi produk kemplang yang optimal adalah 103,2 Kg dengan jumlah pack yang di hasilkan sebesar 688 Pack. Untuk keuntungan maksimum dari kedua produk sebesar Rp 2.665.500.
Improving social welfare can be done with various approaches, by empowering the community.Empowering PKK RT 02 women in Sukamulya Village, Sematang Borang District through training andassistance in the production of liquid soap from galangal. This activity is carried out in order to increase humanresources who are able to rely on their own strength. The specific goals and targets to be achieved in thisactivity are that PKK RT 02 women are interested and motivated to become entrepreneurship, form groupsof PKK members who become economically independent by producing liquid bath soap from galangal, andmake PKK RT 02 in Sukamulya Village stronger, more productive, creative, and responsive. To achieve thisgoal, the community service team of the Industrial Engineering Study Program has provided counseling,training and assistance to PKK women in producing liquid soap from galangal. PKK women were givenknowledge about entrepreneurs and home-based business opportunities, as well as the basic principles ofproduction. PKK women were also given training on howto make liquid bath soap from galangal, as well asproduct packaging and marketing techniques.
