The Blitar region has tourism potential that can attract visitors both from its natural attractions and historical attractions. Some tourism objects that are worthy of consideration in this area are spread evenly throughout the Blitar district. In this Kademangan area there are several interesting tourist attractions to visit such as Bukit Bunda, Bukit Bonsai, Kampung Coklat and others. In addition there are also interesting historical tours in this area, one of which is the Simping Temple Historical Site in Sumberjati Kademangan village, Blitar Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine and understand the history of the establishment of the Simping Temple, to find out the socio-cultural conditions of the community around the Simping Temple Historical Site and to understand the potential of the historical tourism object of the Simping Temple in the Kademangan area. The object of this study was in the village area Sumberjati, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency. The subject of this research is the source of the data requested for information in accordance with the research problem formulation. This research uses a descriptive method through a qualitative approach that directly looks at the conditions and phenomena around Simping Temple. Data collection methods used used observation, interviews and documentation studies. This study explains that Simping Temple has potential tourism objects to be developed with the values of local wisdom.
In the context of efforts to build a nation's life that has national dignity and identity it is certainly not easy to do. There needs to be a clear direction of development and focus on the orientation of the development of quality human resources. The effort to realize this hope is to be guided by one of the national goals, namely to educate the life of the nation. The means to make it happen is through a quality education system and must adapt to the times. The development of a learning system based on local wisdom is very important to help students interpret each trace and the value of the existing local culture. The educational concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara is considered appropriate to be implemented in a character education system based on local wisdom values.The results of this study indicate that the concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara thinking about education provides new direction and hope for the advancement of Indonesian civilization. The Tri concept of the education center and Among's system from Ki Hajar Dewantara is central to the learning of students. The Among method is a teaching method based on kinship based on natural nature and independence. This method has a meaning that educators should follow from behind by helping and encouraging students to develop their potential and to have a positive influence on aspects of their personality. The concept of the Tri center of education also gives meaning to the importance of the learning environment, namely families, schools and communities to instill the value of character education in children The concept of character education from the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara which is integrated with local values is considered important as an effort to face the challenges of the development of the dynamics of life in the future.
Regional culture is the wealth of a country in strengthening national culture. The extinction of a regional culture must be watched out for, for that it is our duty together to protect and preserve regional culture. Researchers are interested in researching the tradition of the bloody whip in Sumberingin Village, Blitar Regency. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the role of social capital in the preservation of the tradition of the bloody whip in Sumberingin Village, Blitar Regency, (2) to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the preservation of the bloody whip tradition in Sumberingin Village, Blitar Regency. The research method is qualitative. The results showed: The conclusions are as follows: (1) The role of social capital in the Preservation of the Bloody Whip Ritual in Sumberingin Village, Blitar Regency is: (a) Bonding or social glue, which contributes separately to the occurrence of social integration, (b) Social Bridging, namely bridges. social is to form community social solidarity within the frame of willingness or volunteering or sincerity in accordance with the ability to participate actively in accordance with their respective abilities and fields, (2) Supporting factors in Preserving the Tradition of Bloody Whip to Reduce Rain in Sumberingin Village, Blitar Regency are: ( 1) the community has solidarity, togetherness in agawe or creating a celebration, (2) strong social ties between residents of the Sumberingin Village community and members of the community outside the village, fellow cultural preservationists (3) Participation and community care and cooperation between residents in realizing art performances and tradition.
