Learning is process to give student that help from learning difficulties, that maybe comes during learning process, so that student can get their optimal score. In study processing, the motivation is very important. The motivation is indispensable, because an individu didn't have encouragement or desire in study, is imposible can do study activity well. It mean there was motivation in student self indirectly will grow up the spirit and passion in study. As a matter in fact, there are many student who have low learning motivation because many found that student always going out-going in from the class and doing something else during study process. This research is descriptif research and the purpose to describe about student's motivation to follow learning process. The conclusion of the research is student's motivation to follow learning in good enough category. The implication of guidance and counseling service for student's motivation to follow learning process through information service about increase the study motivation and individual counseling by way of knowing the matter in study that encountered in studying and giving problem solving. Sekolah adalah tempat berlangsung proses belajar yang dimulai dari sekolah dasar hingga tingkat atas, namun faktanya output pendidikan belum mampu berjalan seimbang dengan tuntutan zaman, hal ini disebabkan minimnya penguasaan terhadap displin ilmu yang diperoleh melalui proses pendidikan. Keadaan ini menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk mempersiapkan siswanya dalam memasuki masa depan. Primagama (2006 : 1) Aktivitas belajar bagi setiap individu, tidak selamanya dapat berlangsung wajar. Dalam keadaan dimana siswa tidak dapat belajar sebagaimana mestinya, masalah-masalah pendidikan secara terinci yang kerap kali dihadapi siswa antara lain ialah pada awal sekolah, mereka kerap menghadapi kesulitan menyesuikan diri dengan pelajaran, para guru, tata tertib sekolah. Dalam proses menjalani program sekolah siswa tidak jarang menghadapi kesulitan berupa keraguaan memilih bidang studi yang sesuai, memilih mata pelajaran yang cocok. Pada tahun-tahun terakhir mereka dalam suatu sekolah sering kali menghadapi kesulitan-kesulitan berupa konflik dalam memahami pelajaran, maka perlu bimbingan belajar yang memadai (Abu Ahmadi, 1991: 107-108).Berdasarkan pendapat di atas, bantuan yang diberikan kepada siswa berupa bimbingan belajar (les tambahan) dapat membantu siswa dalam menghadapi kesulitan belajarnya, bimbingan belajar yang dimaksud ialah les tambahan.Berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan peneliti pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Akhir Negeri 1 Kota Sungai Penuh pada tanggal 13 Maret 2013 sebanyak tujuh orang, terdapat bahwa empat orang menjawab kurang berkonsentrasi dalam belajar, dua orang menjawab malas mengikuti banyak kegiatan diluar jam sekol...
