ABSTRACT:This paper presents a survey conducted to provide an overview of the functions and features of digital library user interfaces within the Islamic manuscript context. Based on Internet and bibliographical keyword search, the survey identifies 49 digital libraries that contain Islamic manuscript collections. The findings illustrate varying patterns for browsing, searching, navigation, and pageviewing systems as well as uncommon yet relevant tools and features offered by the interfaces for digital libraries.
