Chili is one of the spices needed by the majority of Indonesian people. These high needs have an impact on the price of this agricultural commodity which has become very fluctuated. This study, uses the backpropagation method to predict chilli prices in Payakumbuh City, with data sourced from the Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Payakumbuh. The data format are weekly chilli price data for the period 2014 to 2019. Data variables are arranged into time series forms with 4 input values from each week per year, and 1 target value. From the test results obtained the MSE value (Mean Squared Error) of 0.00118 with prediction accuracy of 98.56%. The results of this study can prove that Artificial Neural Networks using the backpropagation method can predict commodity prices for chilli in Payakumbuh City with a good level of accuracy, so that it can be used for the following year.
The temporary closure of educational institutions in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19 has affected millions of Indonesian students. Starting from March 16, 2020, face-to-face learning activities in schools were officially suspended by the Government and replaced with School from Home. SMP/MTs/equivalent were affected with 13,086,424 students studying at home. The government facilitates learning programs from home (virtual face-to-face), but this sudden activity causes students, parents and teachers to not fully implement it so that it has an impact on the independence of students. This study aims to determine the description of the independence of students during School from Home. The design of this research is quantitative with analytical descriptive approach, the sample is 284 people (accidental sampling). The instrument used is an independence questionnaire adapted from Siregar (2018). It was found that most of the respondents (54.5%) had low independence. This is greatly influenced by the condition of parents, teachers, and supporting facilities for learning at home which need a lot of adjustments, so it is hoped that the school will be able to increase the learning independence of students.
In an education context, smartphones can be used to access the application that useful for learning material about vocabulary, especially for elementary students. This research aimed to see the effectiveness of “Tell Me What is it” android application in enlarging elementary students’ vocabularies about the anatomy of the human body. Using quasi-experiment, the students in 5A and 5B in a private Islamic elementary school Bukittinggi were chosen as the research subject. The android application was applied in 5A as the experiment class, and the conventional method was used in 5B as the control class. The data were collected through tests and questionnaires and analyzed by T-dependent and independent test Sample T-test. The result of this result found that “Tell Me What is it” android application was more effective in enlarging the students’ vocabularies related to the anatomy of the human body than the conventional method. Moreover, most of the students liked the application because it was easy to use, and they felt happy when learning English with application and wanted to learn English more.
Cabe merupakan salah satu bumbu dapur yang dibutuhkan mayoritas masyarakat Indonesia. Kebutuhan yang tinggi tersebut berdampak terhadap harga komoditas pertanian yang satu ini menjadi sangat fluktuatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode backpropagation untuk memprediksi harga komoditas cabe di Kota Payakumbuh dengan data bersumber dari BPS Kota Payakumbuh. Data yang digunakan adalah data harga cabe mingguan pada rentang waktu 2014 hingga 2019. Variabel data disusun ke bentuk time series dengan 4 nilai input dari masing-masing minggu per tahun, dan 1 nilai target. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai MSE (Mean Squared Error) sebesar 0,00118 dengan akurasi prediksi sebesar 98,56%. Hasil penelitian ini dapat membuktikan bahwa Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan menggunakan metode backpropagation dapat memprediksi harga komoditas cabe di Kota Payakumbuh dengan tingkat akurasi yang baik, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk tahun berikutnya.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of retail mix on the repeat purchase decision in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi. The population in this research are all consumers who shopped in Niagara Supermarkets and domiciled in Bukittinggi city and its surroundings. To determine the size of the sample by using Cochran formula. The number of samples in the research are 127 peoples. The sampling technique use purposive sampling technique. The analytical tool use the path analysis trimming model. Retail Mix simultaneously influence the repeat purchase decisions in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi. Customer service influence the repeat purchase decisions in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi. Store design and display does not influence the repeat purchase decisions in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi. Communications mix influence the repeat purchase decisions in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi. The location does not influence the repeat purchase decisions in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi. Merchandise assortment does not influence repeat purchase decisions in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi. Pricing influence the repeat purchase decisions in Niagara Supermarkets Bukittinggi.
