Arabic language learning, in Indonesia, is commonly addressed to those with Islamic Religion. However, there are several problems associated with learning this language in higher education institutions due to the mandated rule that students can learn it, irrespective of their religion. This research aims to reveal the institution's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats since the inclusion of the Arabic language in the higher educational institution's curriculum. A qualitative approach was conducted in this research equipped with the data sources of students, lecturers, and policy documents related to the curriculum establishment. The collected data were classified, presented, and interpreted before concluding. The result showed that the institution's strengths are the availability of lecturers with excellent Arabic language competences as well as a language and study center. In addition, by teaching Arabic, it creates more job opportunities for graduates. Meanwhile, the institution's weaknesses are lecturers' language incompetence in certain fields, which vary from different study programs or faculties. Furthermore, due to the location of the four different regencies, students from regencies are unable to utilize the provided facilities. In addition, the institution is faced with the possibility of losing prospective students that do not understand Arabic transcriptions.
This research is based on the lack of motivation of students inadding memorization and maintaining memorization, even though theresults of the study show that memorization of the Koran has an influenceon understanding Arabic. The purpose of this study is to determine whetherthere is a relationship between tsiqah tahfidz Al-Qur’an with maharah allughahal-arabiyyah mustawa tsalits in Ma’had Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam.This study uses quantitative methods, the population in the study directlyinto a sample of 26 people, data collection techniques in this study usingquestionnaires, after the data are obtained the researchers analyze the datawith the percentage and correlation formula. The research findings are thatthere is a significant relationship between tsiqah tahfidz Al-Qur’an withmaharah al-lughah al-‘arabiyah. The conclusions in this study are: 1). Tsiqahtahfidz Al-Qur’an is included in the high classification, with an average of83.81, located at intervals of 83-88, frequency 8 and a percentage of 30.8%,2). Maharah al-lughah al-‘arabiyah belongs to the high classification, withan average of 80.54, located at intervals of 79-85, frequency of 10 and apercentage of 38.5%, 3). There is a significant relationship between tsiqahtahfidz Al-Qur’an with maharah al-lughah al-’arabiyah, the test obtainedrcount of 0.680 and rtable for N 26 of 0.388. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kurangnya motivasi siswa dalammenambahkan menghafal dan memelihara penghafalan, meskipun hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa menghafal Alquran memiliki pengaruh padapemahaman bahasa Arab. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukanapakah ada hubungan antara tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur>an dengan Maharah Al-Lughah Al-‘Arabiyyah mustawa tsalits di Ma>had Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam.Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, populasi dalam studi langsungke sampel dari 26 orang, teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian inimenggunakan kuesioner, setelah data diperoleh peneliti menganalisis datadengan rumus persentase dan korelasi. Temuan penelitian adalah bahwa adahubungan yang signifikan antara tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dengan MaharahAl-Lughah Al-’Arabiyah. Kesimpulan dalam kajian ini adalah: 1). tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur’an termasuk dalam klasifikasi tinggi, dengan rerata 83,81, terletakpada interval 83-88, frekuensi 8 dan persentasi sebesar 30,8%, 2). Maharah Al-Lughah Al-’Arabiyah tergolong klasifikasi tinggi, dengan rerata 80,54, terletakpada interval 79-85, frekuensi 10 dan persentase 38,5% , 3). Ada hubunganyang signifikan antara tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dengan Maharah Al-LughahAl-’ Arabiyah, tes yang diperoleh rcount 0,680 dan rtable untuk N 26 dari0,388.
This research aims to expose the system of Kaji Duduak as one of the strategies for learning qira'ah, specifically the aspects that will be exposed in this study are related to learning materials qira'ah, implementation methods and measures of use of the system Kaji Duduak as a strategy of learning qira'ah. The method of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used classification, display and draw conclusions, to the validity of data use triangulation. The results of the study were: 1) learning materials qira'ah with a strategy kaji Duduak sourced from kitab kuning, 2) The implementation method more emphasis on qira'ah jahriyah, 3) measures used in teaching the maharah qira'ah with the strategy of Kaji Duduak: a) Students seated in the presence of ustadz, b) Teachers read the book that is listened to by students, c) Students are asked to restart the readings in turns , d) Reading material is analyzed using certain codes and distinctive mentions with Minang language, e) reading material translated based on i'rab.
Understanding of tashrif is one part in Arabic, everybody cannot understand a vocabulary or even an Arabic sentence without if not understanding tashrif. So, write this article to analyze the urgency of tashrif in Arabic. The method used in this research is literature study, which is reading every reference related to research focus. The research findings show that tashrif is important in understanding mufradat, because with one word tashrif can be formed some other mufradat. Likewise tashrif important in understanding the sentence, because in the sentence sentence there are two words or more the same origin he said but it has different meaning. In addition, the urgency of tashrif can also be seen in the sense of Arabic texts, because one word in Arabic can be shaped into several different words.
Tukang ojek yang ada di pangkalan Muaro Panjalinan adalah sebuah komunitas yang keberadaannya masih eksis walaupun gojek tersebar di mana-mana, namun dari sikap dan tutur kata yang mereka gunakan sehari-hari memerlukan pembinaan dalam berbagai aspek, terutama dalam bidang pemahaman keagamaan pada berbagai aspeknya. Tujuan kegiatan ini ialah untuk memberikan dampingan terhadap tukang ojek yang belum mahir dalam membaca al-Quran, kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam membaca al-Quran. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan ialah metode iqro’, yakni mengumpulkan tukang ojek setiap hari Jumat dan Minggu di Masjid Al-Furqon Simpang Muaro. Pelaksana kegiatan terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan tukang ojek dalam membaca al-Quran, hal ini dibuktikan dari enam belas tukang ojek yang awalnya hanya mampu membaca al-Quran dengan baik hanya dua orang, tapi di akhir kegiatan sudah menjadi dua belas orang. Selain itu, empat orang yang pada awal kegiatan hanya mengenal huruf hijaiyah di akhir kegiatan sudah mampu membaca al-Quran walaupun belum lancar. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ialah masih ada di antara mereka yang lebih memilih meninggalkan kegiatan pendampingan ketika ada penumpang yang datang. The purpose of this activity is to provide assistance to motorcycle taxi drivers who are not proficient in reading the Koran, this service is expected to improve their ability to read the Koran. The implementation method used is halaqah, which is the gathering of motorcycle taxi drivers every Friday and Sunday at Al-Furqon Mosque Simpang Muaro. The event organizer consisted of lecturers and students of the Arabic Language Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah, West Sumatra. The results of the activity showed an increase in the ability to read in Al-Quran, this was evidenced from the sixteen motorcycle taxi drivers who were initially only able to read the Koran with only two people, but at the end of the activity it had become twelve people. In addition, four people who initially only knew the letter hijaiyah at the end of the activity were able to read the Koran.
