This research aims to answer how the implementation of religious character education building based on school culture and conducted a successful program at SMAN 5 Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta 5 Public High School). This study is highly important to conduct since the religious character is an essential value in the learning process in Indonesia. The research subjects consisted of school principals, teachers, and students. Determination of the subjects carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection used interview, observation, and documentation. An interactively inductive data analysis technique performed data analysis with data reduction stages, data displays, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that: 1) the implementation of religious character education building based on school culture was carried out through character building based on religious values, school climate based on religious values, extracurricular activities based on religious values, as well as building relationships between schools and the societies. 2) The impact of the strengthening program of character education produces two themes as follows: the growth of students’ religious awareness and the growth of tolerance among religious communities. The findings of this study indicated the importance of the school’s cultural base in implementing holistic religious character education programs in schools. This finding also strengthens the previous research findings, which had mentioned that the religious character is an essential character for students in a secondary school in Indonesia, and also strengthen that Indonesia’s society, in general, is religious people.
Pemimpin lembaga pendidikan tidak terlepas dari kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan. Kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan merupakan hal yang salin berkaitan satu dengan yang lainnya. Namun banyak dari pemimpin kurang memahami makna dari kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan sehingga berdampak terhadap kualitas kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan, jenis-jenis pengambilan keputusan, tahap-tahap pengambilan keputusan serta gaya dan model pengambilan keputusan. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis sebanyak 21 artikel nasional yang berkaitan dengan kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan yang terdapat pada database google scholar. Hasil dari penulisan artikel ini adalah adanya perbedaan antara kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan. Kebijakan bersifat teoritis sedangkan pengambilan keputusan bersifat praktis. Jenis pengambilan keputusan terdiri dari keputusan individual dan keputusan kelompok. Dalam pengambilan keputusan terdiri dari tahapan penyelidikan, perancangan dan pemilihan. Ada tiga tipe kepemimpinan yaitu tipe normatif, personal dan transaksional.
The process of transmitting Islamic values to the younger generation remains an appealing study as Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. Unfortunately, previous studies on this topic focused more on the process of transmitting these values through formal and informal religious based educational institutions. This research took a unique position to study the Islamic values transmission within non-religious based public school. This qualitative research employed the case study approach to examine the process of instilling Islamic values in public schools. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and study of relevant documentation. The collected data were analyzed using the inductive interactive techniques of the Miles and Huberman models. This study showed that 1) the values of iman-taqwa (faith-piety) and akhlaq mulia (good morals) were an important embodiment of affection-based educational programs in schools. 2) These values were instilled by the school through a habituation process, supported by the function of the principal and teachers as role models and the important role of Rohis (Islamic organization). The inculcation of Islamic values was not only carried out by religious education teachers, but also transmitted by secular subject teachers as well as extracurricular activities. The findings of this study confirmed that public schools in Indonesia were now transformed as important instruments for the transmission of Islamic values to young Muslims. This research suggests important recommendations on the need to develop the capacity of teachers in schools to make them agents of moderation of Islamic values.
<p>Pelaksanaan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik materi tema ekosistem dengan menerapkan strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di Kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (<em>research action</em>). Dalam penelitian ini digunakan gabungan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V pada Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Perolehan data pada siklus 1 tentang hasil belajar siswa diperoleh skor capaian keseluruhan siswa pada siklus I yaitu 71,8 atau 72%. Perolehan nilai pada siklus II terhadap ranah kognitif dengan rata-rata 83,91, aspek afektif 82,5 dan aspek psikomotor 84,2, rata-rata nilai dari keseluruhan aspek adalah 83,53. Pada siklus II pertemuan II diperoleh nilai rata-rata aspek kognitif 94,19, aspek afektif 93,7, dan aspek psikomotor 93,3 sehingga rata-rata dari ketiga aspek tersebut adalah 93,73. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat dengan penerapan strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (<em>Problem Based Learning)</em> dalam pembelajaran tema ekosistem muatan IPA kelas V SD.</p>
In applied learning, it can be seen that there are differences in students' abilities in absorbing teaching materials from the teacher. So there needs to be a strategy to overcome independence in student learning. This study aims to determine and describe: (1) the effect of the implementation of learning strategies on learning outcomes of Islamic Education, (2) the effect of learning independence on Islamic s Education learning outcomes, and (3) the influence of learning strategies and learning independence on learning outcomes Islamic education. The population of this study was all students of class V Al-Hijrah Deli Serdang consisting of 3 classes. Based on the cluster Random sampling technique. The research instrument is a test used to obtain learning outcomes data and a questionnaire to obtain student learning independence data. The analysis technique is an analysis of variance. The results showed: (1) the average Islamic Education learning outcomes of students taught with the CIRC learning strategy were higher than the average Islamic Education learning outcomes of students taught with expository learning strategies, (2) the average Islamic Education learning outcomes of students with high learning independence are higher than learning outcomes of students with low learning independence and (3) there is an interaction between learning strategies and learning independence.
