<p><em>As a new media, internet not only as production tools but also distributed message. Internet has a function like traditional media, internet as a storage message. Internet has many easier tools and become many application to be access many times. Consumer behavior has changed from traditional to online.</em></p><p><em>This research tried to examine aspect of elaboration likelihood model and advertising exposure and connected to consumer behavior on youth, especially students in the big city.</em></p><p><em>This research took place di University of 17 August Surabaya, located in the central city of Surabaya, and could be represent students. The population is students of Untag Surabaya 13849. The sampel is 160, based n slovin formula and used systematic random sampling. The type of the research is quantitative descriptive, the data used to generalize youth in the city.</em></p><p><em>The result show that there is a influence of marketplace’s advertising exposure, application access to buying interest toward student with linear regression. The influence of marketplace’s advertising exposure, application access to buying interest is 41,9%. The Internet has changed the way people communicate including how internet have used as the tools for producing and distributing the message. In Indonesia, the number of internet user has been increasing, particularly internet user who categorized as the youth. Some research states that the high internet user in this group has the correlation with the low quality of family interaction, the decrease of the social relationship as well as the feeling of lonely. This article tries to support those arguments. By applying the theory of Uses and Gratification and Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) this article tries to understand the correlation between the intensity of new media access and the quality of interaction of the internet user to the surrounding environmental interaction. The population is a student of Untag Surabaya who representing urban youth. This research involved 388 samples that are taken by using systematic random sampling. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between the intensity of accessing new media to the quality of the surrounding environmental interaction. The test results show that there is positive, strong, and significant correlation r (388) = 0,759; and 0.759, p <0.05. The higher the intensity of new media access, the higher the interaction of the environment around the students. This study is expected to provide new insights and findings related to the quality of students' social interactions relating to the use of new media.
Revolusi industri 4.0 merupakan transformasi digital yang digambarkan sebagai sebuah pertukaran data dalam bidang teknologi komunikasi di mana digital dan fisik bersatu membuat pertukaran data secara real time. Demikian canggihnya, sehingga perubahan teknologi ini harus diimbangi dengan pola perilaku remaja sebagai pengguna terbanyak kedua dalam penggunaan media digital yaitu sebesar 18,72% (bps.go.id, diakses Agustus 2021). Dengan demikian, remaja harus bijak dalam bermedia. Kegiatan literasi digital merupakan langkah penting dan sesuai dengan program Kominfo yang menargetkan 12,5 juta masyarakat Indonesia terliterasi digital setiap tahunnya, sehingga 50 juta masyarakat akan terliterasi pada tahun 2024 (Agustini, 2021). Melihat pentingnya kegiatan tersebut, maka tim pengabdi melaksanakan kegiatan ini dengan mitra komunitas Cacak Yuk Lumajang yaitu sebuah komunitas yang mewadahi Putra-putri Duta Wisata Kabupaten Lumajang dan berada di bawah naungan Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Lumajang. Tim pengabdi berfokus pada pengenalan mengenai literasi digital dan bagaimana menangkal cyberbullying dengan bentuk kegiatan berupa workshop dan sharing session. Kegiatan ini di ikuti oleh 54 peserta. Sebelum kegiatan, peserta mengisi pretest dan setelah kegiatan peserta mengisi post-test. Dari hasil tersebut ditemukan 17 orang menjadi pelaku dan korban cyberbullying. Dan di akhir kegiatan pemahaman peserta akan literasi digital semakin bertambah dan peserta lebih memahami cara untuk menangkal cyberbullying.
New media has made a significant impact on past media because new media or internet media aremore accessible and used as social media today and are used as a tool to promote goods to be soldonline.This type of research is quantitative. This research was conducted using path analysis with theStatistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program Ver. 23.00 Sample data of 100 respondents tofemale students of SMK 1 Buduran Sidoarjo.The sampling technique used purposive sampling, namelyfor female students of SMK 1 Buduran Sidoarjo because of the technique of determining the samplewith certain considerations. The researcher only conducted a study on Buduran 1 Sidoarjo VocationalHigh School students who have active Instagram users and follow lipstick seller accounts onInstagram social media.The results of this study with the independent variables of consumer attitudesand purchase interest significantly influence the dependent variable, namely endorsement. Social media access is increasingly mushrooming among the students into a unique thing to be studied. Of these habits of students are still considered less concerned with the environment, especially for the election of regional heads. Students who are a reflection of the current generation are expected to remain one of the indicators of change agents.The type of research is descriptive quantitative. This study will examine aspects of the aspects in the uses and gratification associated with voter behavior. The results showed that there was a negative relationship between the intensity of social media access and voter behavior. The media still has a role to play as a source of political information for voters but does not really affect the attitude of students in their choice. AbstrakAkses media sosial yang semakin menjamur di kalangan mahasiswa menjadi hal yang unik untuk diteliti. Dari kebiasaan tersebut mahasiswa masih dianggap kurang peduli dengan lingkungan sekitar, apalagi untuk pemilihan kepala daerah. Mahasiswa yang merupakan cerminan generasi sekarang diharapkan tetap bisa menjadi salah satu indicator agen perubahan. Tipe penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini berdasarkan teori uses gratifocation dan dikaitkan dengan perilaku pemilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif antara intensitas akses media sosial dan perilaku pemilih. Media masih memiliki peran kaitannya sebagai sumber informasi politik bagi pemilih namun tidak begitu mempengaruhi sikap mahasiswa dalam pilihannya.
