In the paper there are presented the results of the researches of existing methods of quality control for cultures of insects for rearing is presented. A new express-method of biological material selection for H. cunea establishment has been approbated. This method may be suitable for monitoring of natural populations condition in systems of integrated plant protections of diferent agricultural, ornamental and forest crops with intensive anthropogenic loading. The results of the present study revealed the larvicidal potential of baculovirus isolates found in the larvae of H.cunea, local production of biopesticides, which will reduce the final cost of the product and will more accessible to farmer.
Climate change is becoming increasingly unpredictable as the climate dries up, protected areas grown with vegetables are growing every day, but farmers in this area are facing a number of problems, including pests of green cucumber lice (Aphis gossypii), the common thrips. (Thrips tabaci), the common red spider (Tetranychus urticae). Scientists around the world are conducting studies to propose solutions. The use of material that allows the passage of a larger amount of UV rays inhibits the development of aphid colonies. The dual application of Lecanicillium longisporum for the simultaneous suppression of green lice of cucumbers and powdery mildew has been demonstrated. Beauveria bassiana preparations are highly effective against tripe. For a future assured with high quality vegetables, it is necessary to develop as diverse methods as possible to control pests, so that each farmer can choose the method that suits him, both technologically and economically. The methods should be applicable in the most diverse areas of the earth. We must learn to model not only favorable climatic conditions but to create a healthy and viable ecosystem, so the greenhouses will generate profit for the farmer, fresh and tasty products for us.
On the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in 2019 the intense flight was noticed of the butterflies of the specie Painted Lady (Vanessa cardui L.,1758) from the Nymphalidae family. As a result of the researches on soybean crop, during the development of the first generation, the amount of V. cardui L. eggs ranged from 61 to 2287 eggs per 200 plants per hectare. The average density per plant ranged from 1.0 to 13.0 eggs. Out of the total number of V. cardui eggs (6105) collected in soybean culture, after two launches with Trichogramma evanescens the number of parasitized eggs was 4400-72%. The launch norm of the entomophage pest control was 100.000 eggs/ha in the first release (05.06.20), and 300.000 eggs/ha of individuals (07.06.20) in the second release. In the control the entomophage did not launch.
The aim of our study was the synthesis of the active components of the apple worm, Cydia pomonella L. - E8, E10-dodecenol and the grape moth, Lobesia botrana S. - E7, Z9-dodecadienol and their minor components E-8-dodecenol and E-9 -dodecenyl acetate. Different amounts of components were impregnated in each rubber dispenser. Pheromone traps was given to be tested in field monitoring trials to determine the most effective optimal pheromone blend ratio in the geographical and climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova.
