The purpose of this study is to investigate factors that influence social media usage among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi motivasi pelaku UMKM dalam pemanfaatan media sosial serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja UMKM.Metode survei dengan teknik convenience sampling digunakan dalam pengumpulan data.Responden penelitian ini adalah pelaku UMKM yang telah menggunakan media sosial facebook dan instagram dalam kegiatan bisnisnya.Hasil pengujian dengan SEM-PLS menunjukkan bahwa interaktivitas, efektivitas biaya dan kepercayaan merupakan faktor yang memotivasi pelaku UMKM untuk menggunakan media sosial.Sedangkan kompatibilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan media sosial.Penggunaan media sosial bagi UMKM berdampak positif terhadap kinerja UMKM yaitu kinerja pelayanan pelanggan, penjualan, pemasaran dan operasi internal.Akan tetapi tidak ditemukan bukti empiris pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap kinerja inovasi. Kata kunci: media sosial, UMKM, kinerja, inovasi, social commerce PENDAHULUANUMKM memiliki peran strategis terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia, terutama di era globalisasi saat ini. Potensi UMKM sangat penting dengan perannya sebagai sumber pendapatan masyarakat, pemenuhan kebutuhan barang dan jasa domestik, penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan, serta peningkatan nilai tambah yang berdampak pada penurunan angka kemiskinan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi (Koperasi dan UMKM, 2015). Namun, UMKM juga mengalami berbagai macam permasalahan dan kendala. Berdasarkan rencana strategis Kementerian Koperasi dan UMKM tahun 2015-2019, upaya pemberdayaan UMKM difokuskan pada penanganan dua isu strategis, yaitu pertumbuhan usaha dan daya saing.
Utilization of social media technology for business interests has been widely done both in largecompanies and MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise). Utilization of social media forMSMEs is very important to face the competition in this globalization era. This study empiricallyexamines the antecedents of social media usage and its impact on MSMEs performance basedon the Technology-Organization-Environment framework and Resource Based View theory. Thesurvey method by distributing questionnaires was conducted to MSMEs from various industriesin Magelang. Analysis with SEM-Partial Least Square indicates that customer pressure andmobile environment are significant factors affecting the use of social media. Furthermore, thedimensions of the impact on internal operations, sales, marketing and customer service aresignificant and make the value of social media usage for MSMEs. This integrated community service program (PPMT) was carried out in Mendak Hamlet, Banyuwangi Village, Bandongan District, Magelang Regency, Central Java in the form of developing and marketing organic local rice and utilizing yard land. The purpose of the program is to increase public awareness of organic local rice processing and make mothers aware of the use of home gardens to meet the healthy food needs. The implementation of this program is in the form of socialization, training for seeding vegetable seeds, practicing vegetable planting and catfish care, assistancing in making organic fertilizers and making cakes with local ingredients, and branding on organic rice (logos and packaging). The result of the training is that members of KWT Putri Sejahtera know how to seed and plant vegetables properly. Furthermore, through mentoring, farmer group members understand better how to make organic fertilizers and good cake processing. Another result of this program is that members of farmer groups become more aware of the importance of organic rice processing and have used the land in their home gardens to grow healthy vegetables.
The current adoption of fintech payment technology by MSMEs is motivated by the trend of using digital money. This study presents an investigation the factors that influence the intention to use fintech payments (e-money, e-wallet and Electronic Data Capture) in micro-enterprises. Furthermore, this study will explore more specifically the role and perceived trust and risk in fintech payment adoption. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing surveys to 136 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises using convenience sampling technique. The results indicated that perceived usefulness, risk and trust are the important drivers of the adoption fintech payment among the micro-enterprises. The results of this study reveal interesting findings, risk perception has a significant positive effect on intentions to use fintech payments.
The success of an organization can be portrayed by the employee turnover intention rate each month. Employee turnover intention can be influenced by compensation, job satisfaction, and work stress. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the relationship among compensation factors, job satisfaction, and work stress on employees at PT. Tanjung Kreasi Parquet Industri (TKPI). This study was conducted in a Quantitative research method with multiple regression analysis. The population of this study was all production employees. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 201 employees. The results of the study prove that compensation and job satisfaction have a negative effect on turnover intention, while work stress has a positive effect on turnover intention.
