It is shown that the Ken spacetime possesses a vector space V and an aftine space MO allowing definitions of quasilocal momentum and angular momentum with all the desired properties. The construction of V and MO makes use of a natural, flat, metric connection with torsion and of a generalized twistor equation. The momentum and angular momentum contained within a finite 2-surface Z are expressed as the integrals over 2 of two closed 2-forms. 0264-9381/91/040697+0S$O3.50 0 1991 IOP Publishing Ltd
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
