With the advancement of information technology, the knowledge teaching of traditional educational training no longer catches up with the changes of economic environment. E-learning has become the weapon for enterprises to create competitive advantages in human resources. With advantages of convenience, great flexibility and timing, enterprises can create unique competitive advantages. While enterprises are introducing e-learning, they need to understand the internal needs and resources limits. After having overall understanding and evaluation, they select appropriate e-learning system to maximize the learning effects of the system. With methods including secondary data collection, arrangement & analysis and interviews with specialists, the researcher explores issues on e-learning for small and median enterprises, including 1) understanding the reasons and effects of implementing e-learning, 2) exploring the considerations and limits of introducing e-learning, 3) having interviews with specialist, scholars and owners of small and median enterprises on the limits, difficulties and future development and 4) offering practical suggestions and significant reference for those who are planning to or have introduced e-learning.
The number of enterprises implementing knowledge management (KM) has grown dramatically in recent years. However, few companies could achieve their target and successfully implement KM, especially in Taiwan. There are several factors that need to be considered while developing or implementing knowledge sharing system. This paper is intended to specify factors which effect knowledge sharing as perceived by R&D engineers. The study conducted a questionnaire survey along with literature review. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to assess the fitness between the model and data. Based on the results, two conclusions were made as follows. First, Six aspects composed factors affecting one to share knowledge on-line, which were organizational culture, base construction of discussion board, rewards, job stress, knowledge sharing design, and willingness of sharing knowledge. Second, among the six aspects, the factor of knowledge sharing design influenced most, and then organizational culture, rewards, base construction of discussion board, job stress, and willingness of sharing knowledge orderly.
