Abstract. Multi-attribute decision making deals with discrete finite set of alternatives. The solution to the multi-attribute decision making problem is the choice of an alternative from the set of all possible alternatives on the base of usually contradicting attributes. In this paper, a new multi-attribute decision making model is presented. The proposed model develops a linear compensatory process for the interconnected attributes. It concerns the overall ranking of the alternatives based on the attribute-wise ranking as well as the interaction and the combination of the attributes. The compensation model of multiattribute decision making is applied to N-version software selection. N-version programming is one of the well-known software development approach which ensures high dependability and fault tolerance of software. However, the problem of extra resource involvement arises since the N-version programming stipulates program redundancy. A set of characteristics/attributes have to be considered when choosing an optimal variant of N-version software. The proposed compensation model of multi-attribute decision making provides a solution to this problem. Additionally, a case study on choosing N-version software for a real-life information and control system problem is provided to verify the correctness of our model.
Being a technique ensuring the dependability and fault tolerance of software, the N-version programming has proven its effectiveness. A formal definition and some practical experience support the idea that redundancy and diversity are the key points of the N-version software dependability. The implementation of N functionally equivalent versions allows to resist different types of faults, including residual ones. However, due to some peculiarities of N-version software design interversion and intermodule dependences can arrive. It results in the dependency of potential faults in versions or modules of the N-version software. The recently appeared blockchain technology can be applied to increase the dependability of N-version software. In the paper the authors suggest an approach to log N-version software faults by the means of the blockchain technology. As a result, the blockchain technology provides complete data on operation of the N-version software that is used to improve the Nversion software dependability. An example illustrating the proposed approach is provided.
The purpose of our work is to identify the relationship between reflection and self–regulation among teachers of a general education institution. Reflection is one of the most important mechanisms of self-regulation, as the ability to manage the development of one own competencies, i.e. to carry out personal and professional growth. The development of self-regulation helps a modern teacher to find an individual style of professional activity, allows him to achieve adequate professional and personal self-esteem, predict and analyze the results of his activities. Subject of research: the relationship of reflection and self-regulation among teachers of a general education institution. The following were selected as the main research methods: 1. Methodology for diagnosing the level of development of reflexivity (Karpova A.V.). 2. Basic questionnaire "Style of self–regulation of behavior - SSPM" (Morosanova V.I.). The study was conducted on the basis of secondary schools No. 4 and No. 19. Krasnoyarsk. In total, 56 teachers aged 30 to 35 years with more than 5 years of experience in school participated in the study. The sample was mainly made up of women (93%) – subject teachers. After statistical data processing, the following conclusions are made. Teachers with high and low levels of reflection have differences in the level of general self-regulation. There is also some peculiarity in the development of self-regulation processes and regulatory-personal properties. Therefore, we can say that the hypothesis put forward at the beginning of our study has been confirmed. That is, the relationship of reflection and self-regulation among teachers of a general education institution exists. This fact should be taken into account in order to influence the process of professional self-development, to understand the reasons for his professional failures and failures and to regulate his pedagogical activity.
