<p style="text-align: justify;">The current study investigates the psychometric characteristics of the Social Support Scale as an instrument for assessing social support for academics. The original version of the scale was adapted and translated into Indonesian and was administered to academics in Indonesia through a google form. The data were then analyzed to investigate the reliability, construct validity, and structure of factors of the instrument. Confirmatory factor analysis confirms that the three-dimension model was the best model regarding the internal structure. Our findings also advocate the Social Support Scale as a valid and reliable tool for assessing social support in Indonesian academics. Thus, it can be employed to examine lecturers’ social support level which helps the universities to build a supportive working climate, as well as improve the relationship quality between employees.</p>
Career maturity is a continual process of development that demonstrates notably recognised attributes required for career advancement. However, internal and environmental variables determine career maturity. This study explores the aspects of career maturity in high school students by collecting the literature. The following criteria were used to choose articles for inclusion: 1) articles describing career maturity in general high school or vocational high school; 2) articles published in English or Indonesian; 3) entire passages in published works; 4) published during the previous ten years. Results mentioned students at vocational high schools typically have more components than students in general high schools. Social attachment, adversity intelligence, emotional intelligence, career interest, motivation, and career aspirations are maturity elements that show in vocational students. Meanwhile, self-determination, self-esteem, self-actualisation, self-confidence, and psychological well-being, on the other hand, are characteristics that impact the professional maturity of general high school students. Since most of these elements are internal to students, it is critical for general high school students to recognise self-reinforcement and self-understanding.
Several reasons contribute to specific students' academic burnout due to the ongoing transformations in online learning. This literature review aims to determine how and to what extent students experienced burnout during the COVID-19 epidemic. Utilizing Google Scholar, 16 journals with the keyword "student's academic burnout" are uncovered through a study of the relevant literature. The analysis results of 15 journal papers indicate that students' learning processes induce academic burnout, so they exhibit emotional and physical tiredness, a tendency to depersonalize, and a lack of learning motivation. This has numerous effects on students, including rapid emotional change and heightened sensitivity. In addition, burnout has several adverse effects, including poor academic accomplishment, academic procrastination by students, decreased sleep quality, and suboptimal academic work, which calls for additional research to address academic burnout issues in students. This review concludes that most students during this epidemic reported burnout at medium to severe levels.
There are several kinds of supporting media in teaching and learning process. Student worksheet or Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) is a printed-based media used as a medium to help deliver messages from teaching objectives. It is used as a guide for students in carrying out activities or assignments, both individually or in groups. The use of LKS as a learning media has several advantages and disadvantages. However, a teacher as an educator needs to know how and what to consider in choosing a good LKS for the students to use, as a LKS of good quality has several criteria and requirements in it. Dalam suatu perusahaan maupun instansi sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkualiatas sangatlah penting, hal tersebut bisa terwujud dengan adanya proses rekrutmen dan seleksi yang benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengelolaan sumber daya manusia melalui proses rekrutmen dan seleksi. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 orang yaitu Direktur Operasional, Personalia dan Kepala Produksi, dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan data sampel berupa purposive sampling. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi. Dari penelitian tersebut didapatkan hasil bahwa proses rekrutmen dan seleksi ini sangat menentukan perusahaan dalam memperoleh sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas. Kesalahan yang terjadi ketika adanya proses rekrutmen dan seleksi akan mengakibatkan perusahaan mendapatkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang tidak sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan.
