Perasaan dan keyakinan yang kurang menguntungkan menurutremaja di panti asuhan merupakan salah satu model persepsi umum individu untuk menginterpetasikan kejadian dalam hidupnya yang juga disebut dengan explanatory style. Seligman (1995) menyatakan bahwa explanatory style merupakan inti dari berpikir optimis, sehingga perubahan explanatory style dilakukan dengan memberikan latihan berpikir optimis model ABCDE. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pelatihan berpikir optimis untuk meningkatkan harga diri remaja di panti asuhan. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah pelatihan berpikir optimis dapat meningkatkan harga diri remaja di panti asuhan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttes control group design. Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon untuk pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pelatihan berpikir optimis sangat signifikan untuk meningkatkan harga diri remaja di panti asuhan.Kata kunci: pelatihan berpikir optimis, harga diri, remaja panti asuhan. PENDAHULUANSecara umum penghuni panti asuhan merupakan anak-anak yang mempunyai masalah di dalam keluarga. Sebagian besar kasus ditemukan bahwa para anak asuh berasal dari keluarga miskin dan tidak mengenal orang tua sejak dari bayi. Borualogo (2004) mengemukakan bahwa panti asuhan berperan sebagai pengganti keluarga dalam memenuhi kebutuhan anak dalam proses perkembangannya.Survei menunjukkan 46% remaja di panti asuhan mengarah pada ciri-ciri harga diri rendah. Remaja di panti menganggap dirinya tidak memiliki pendirian, menjadi sumber masalah bagi lingkungan, terasing dari keluarga, dan mudah menyerah serta mengalami hambatan untuk mengekspresikan emosi negatif. Berkembangnya pemikiran mengenai jati diri dan keunikan diri merupakan masalah dalam hidup seorang remaja, salah satuanya terkait dengan harga diri remaja. Diungkapkan oleh Santrock (2003)
Abstract. University students are vulnerable to psychological problems, including Muslim university students. One of the reasons is the low resilience level. Therefore, an intervention is needed to develop the resilience of Muslim students so that it is expected to face difficulties and at the same time encourage self-development to protect students from psychological problems. The intervention will be better if it is adjusted to the values held by students, one of which is religious values. However, psychological interventions based on religious values to increase student resilience have not been developed much. This study aims to examine the effect of Islamic-based positive psychology online training on the improvement of university students’ resilience. The training modules were prepared based on the positive psychology intervention techniques and integrated with Islamic values. The training consists of six sessions and was delivered via Zoom meeting. This study employed a quasi-experiment with a one-group design pretest-posttest. The target participants of this study were Muslims students of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Participants who took part in this study received information that was announced through several social media. The study participants were 10 Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta students. The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) was used to measure the resilience in Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta’s students. The data were analyzed using repeated-measures ANOVA and the results showed the scores of p = 0.005 (p 0.05). This result showed that online positive psychological training with Islamic values improves the university students’ resilience. Online positive psychology training based on Islamic can be used for promotive programs to improve Muslim students' mental health in Indonesia.Keywords: Islamic values; online training; positive psychology; resilience; university students
Stigma negatif terhadap orang dengan gangguan jiwa (ODGJ) menjadi salah satu permasalahan Desa C dalam mewujudkan Desa Siaga Sehat Jiwa. Pengetahuan warga dan keluarga penderita yang minim mengenai ODGJ membuat keluarga dan warga memperlakukan ODGJ secara negatif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran stigma yang terjadi, serta merancang intervensi intuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan program yang mewadahi antara ODGJ dengan warga. Kegiatan ini melibatkan Pemerintah Desa C, ODGJ, keluarga penderita, serta masyarakat Desa C. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan focus group interview (FGI). Metode intervensi yang digunakan yaitu advokasi, psikoedukasi, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji student test. Kegiatan advokasi mewujudkan program Wadah Jiwa yakni berisikan psikoedukasi terkait ODGJ, termasuk stigma negatif terhadap OGDJ dan advokasi untuk dukungan keberlangsungan program dari pemerintah desa dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil Intervensi melalui wadah Jiwa Berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang stigma negative terhadap ODGJ dan terwujud kegiatan yang mengakomodasi interaksi antara warga dengan ODGJ.
Mother can give sexual education for their children continuously. Through it cnitdren could get attitude and moral values beside information related to. This research aimed to find out mother's attitude toward children questions about sexuality. Forty mothers as research subjects were taken from purposive nonrandom sampling procedure. They are whose having pre-teenage children. Data collected through recorded interviews .. Interviews described mother-chifdren communication situation.. Research show that mother attitude correspond to children query have 5 variations (1) giving explanation (51,07%); (2) feeling surprised and confused (17,86%); (3) asking children to stop asking (2, 14%); (4) postponing answerS Wffh assumption that children will find the answers by their own. (12, 14%) and (5) changing conversation topics (16,43%). Based on that findings, it is concluded that mothers wiflingQeSs to give explanation on children question about sexuality indicate their readiness to communicate sexuality topics. Other attitudes indicate mother's un-readiness to respond on children's sexuality question.
