EVALUATION OF MIDWIFERY DISTANCE EDUCATION STUDENTS E-LEARNING READINESS ABSTRACTDistance learning has become more widespread recently, many professional shave begun a question how remote distance education students are prepared to be successful in this environment. The aim of midwifery department is to evaluate the availability of distance learning students for e-learning. The research sample has been accepted to participate in the study (n=86). Sociodemographic characteristics of the participants, a questionnaire measuring distance education information and a self-assessment questionnaire for e-learning were used in the data collection. The data were analyzed in the SPSS 15.0 program. The average score scale of first class distance education students was 101.0±14.17 (min: 68, max: 125) while the average score of second grade students was 105.10±12.38 (min: 74 max: 125). As a result of our study; all students were found to be ready for e-learning.
