This article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment when teaching microcontroller programming. The pedagogical experiment was conducted at the Faculty of Information Technology of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in the form of project-based seminars on the Arduino platform (2017-2020). The experiment was attended by 88 first-year IT students. Our goal in this study is to verify the proposed hypothesis on the use of the project-based learning method in teaching microcontroller programming. In the process of conducting a pedagogical experiment, we divided our students into 2 groups: control and experimental. The training of both groups was carried out according to one curriculum, but using different methods. In the control group, traditional teaching methods and learning tools were used, and in the experimental group, we used the technology of project-based learning. As assessment criteria, we took the test tasks “pre-test” and “post-test” that we developed, and conducted a survey for the control and experimental groups. We used statistical methods to confirm or refute the proposed hypothesis of our research, that is, at the end of the pedagogical experiment to get an informed decision about the difference and coincidence of the obtained data.
In today's rapidly changing world of innovative technologies, it is necessary to search for means of modernization of educational process, where along with implementation and constant improvement of new technologies and software it is also important to update the content of education system as well. The modern and developing education institution requires experts in the various related fields. First, it is necessary to know the modern innovative technologies; second, to employ these technologies in various sectors and activities. With regard to the above, the content of education programs with respect to the development of the promising areas should be revised these days. The given article analyses the development of educational content in computer science of Kazakhstan, determines the theoretical basis, development and practical realization of introducing the content of computer science in secondary school. The authors of this article introduced information business in the course of computer science with an aim to develop the content of computer science discipline by introducing elements of information business. The content and structure of training in the fundamentals of information business was introduced in the educational process as a separate elective course and as a fragment of general education computer science course.
One of the important elements of the information infrastructure of educational institutions is the information and educational environment. The information and educational environment of preschool education organizations has its own characteristics, which must be taken into account when building a model for managing information processes. The object of study in this work is the information and educational environment for preschool education organizations. The problem to be solved is the need to develop a model for managing data and information processes, which will allow determining the learning outcomes of preschoolers and adjusting individual work with them. The introduction of the developed model allowed to reduce the time spent on adjusting individual work with students by 30 %. These results are explained by the optimization of information processes, as well as improved monitoring of the formation of skills of preschoolers and a reduction in the time for its implementation. When monitoring for each child, 211 indicators are examined. There are 633 indicators per year for three monitoring, in aggregate, per one child. By default, the data is entered into Microsoft Excel and processed manually. However, a large number of entries slows down the processing of Microsoft Excel data and increases the chance of errors. The use of this model will make it possible to carry out calculations automatically, save data and generate reports for each child or group of children. The developed model can be used in information and educational environments for preschool education organizations in order to improve the efficiency of monitoring and managing educational processes
The article focuses on the training of future informatics specialists in higher education system of Kazakhstan. The prelude to the change in the educational program, analysis of Competence was described, Competence was analyzed and the competence-based model of the informatics specialist was built for Kazakhstan. An educational program has been developed on the basis of this model that includes requirements not only of normative documents, but also of other customers (employers, IT professionals). The development of industry in Kazakhstan gave rise to the inclusion of the industrial and engineering areas into the program, that will allow students in the future to access employment in the industrial sector of the economy of Kazakhstan.
