“Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga” (“Dragon Fruit Fortress Café & Resto”) presents an innovation based on dragon fruit products, then the initial perception will determine consumer's motivation to visit the place. The research purposed to determine the consumer’s characteristics and to state the influence of motivation and perception on purchasing decisions. The research was conducted at “Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga” in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province. The sampling method was accidental sampling with 100 respondents. The data analysis used was path analysis. The results show that the majority of respondents were women (68%) with the status as a student who has an income maximum IDR 1,000,000. The motivation variable partially affects the purchase decision, as it obtains a sig value of 0.036 which means < 0.05. Variable perception obtains a sig value of 0.000 which means < 0.05, partially significant effect also on the purchase decision. It could be concluded that the consumer’s motivation and perception influence purchasing decisions at “Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga”. The advice given is that “Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga” continues to develop more dragon fruit-based product variants and become their special menu at the restaurant.
The current era of information technology and globalization brings many changes in people's lives, including changes in life style, especially in consumption patternsso that the concept of serving food instantly emerged, that is practical and efficient in time, taste and affordable prices, namely fast food. The aims of this study are (1) knowing the characteristics of fast-food consumers in Malang, (2) knowing the main factors that are considered the most important by consumers in consuming fast food in Malang, (3) knowing consumer preferences for fast food in Malang. The sampling technique used a combination of accidental sampling and purposive sampling methods to obtain 100 respondents. The analytical method used descriptive analysis and conjoint analysis. Consumers who consume fast food dominated by male gender and the majority are students, they are in the age range of 20 to 24 years old and come from the East Java region. Most consumers have an allowance of Rp1.000.000 to Rp1.500.000 per month. Based on the conjoint analysis, it is known that the main factors that are considered the most important by consumers in making a purchase are the product factor, packaging, facilities and price factor. Consumer preferences choose prices ranging from Rp20.000 to Rp30.000. Regarding to the packaging variable, consumers prefer large packages. The facility which is preferred by consumers is co-working space facility and the product that is most favored by consumers is processed chicken products.
UD Sari Agung merupakan usaha penggilingan padi yang berumur tua, harga bahan baku yang fluktuatif dan berjalanya usaha belum ada yang menganalisis finansial usaha. Metode analisis digunakan yaitu NPV, IRR, Net B/C Ratio, PP. Hasil NPV yaitu Rp. 1,913,971,722>1, nilai IRR 19,22%>1, nilai Net B/C Ratio 3,360>1 maka usaha layak dijalankan dengan PP 7 tahun 3 bulan. Kendala yang dialami yaitu mesin tua, banyak pekerja, bahan baku fluktuatif dan merk yang belum terdaftar.
