Motor learning in preschool education is very important to be a concern because it has an impact on the growth and development of children, and their mental abilities. This study aims to design and implement motor learning measuring tools using sensor technology for preschool education. This measuring instrument is expected to have a good performance in assessing motion in children, such as running, walking, and jumping. This type of research is development research with three stages, namely, phase I needs analysis and designing motor learning measuring tools, phase II, implementation of motor learning measuring tools, and developing motor learning measuring tools, phase III, evaluating of motor learning measuring tools and dissemination. However, this research is only limited to the stage of designing and implementing motor learning measuring tools. This research involved instrumentation experts and Kindergarten students, with a total sample of 65 students, using the purposive sampling technique. The result of this study is a sensor technology-based motor learning measuring instrument that can make an objective, easy and practical assessment. This measuring instrument can measure motor skills in locomotor movements, namely, running, walking, and jumping. Furthermore, the results of the implementation showed an increase in the motor skills of children aged for the better. So it is hoped that this measuring tool can be used by the wider community in an effort to improve preschool education learning.
One effort that can be done to overcome the deterioration of character values is through PJOK education. PJOK learning model was deemed necessary to be developed so that learning can build character values. The preliminary study data were collected by using questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and descriptive analysis. The preliminary study results show that the average test score from 50 students is 60.50 point with five sets of test materials, playing at school 60 point, playing outside of school 50 point, learners participation at play time 40 point, character of awake learners 30 point and problem faced when playing 70. The value of such data can be categorized very low and the authors conclude that it is necessary to design a learing model of sport and health education subject to construct character value of elementary school students. Based on the results of preliminary studies the authors try to design and develop PJOK learning model through playing activities to build student character values. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with procedure is Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE).
Kindergarten Students This study began with the unknown of gross motor skills of young children in the South Painan Kindergarten Dharma Wanita Selatan Pesisir South District. The purpose of this study was to reveal the gross motor skills of early childhood in the kindergarten. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were 45 people from 20 men and 25 women in the Dharma Wanita Kindergarten in South Painan District. Sampling using a total sampling technique. The gross motor ability assessment instrument is measured in 6 test forms, namely jumping forward with two feet, walking on tiptoes with fingertips, motion of an airplane, throwing a ball with one hand, and catching the ball with two hands. This motion is grouped into 3 categories, namely non-locomotor, locomotor, and manipulative motion abilities by looking at the norm tests for gross motor ability assessment in the form of percentages. Based on the analysis of the data obtained from the results of the study of 31 children, a total of 3 children developed very well criteria (BSB), 7 children developed criteria as expected (BSH), 9 children began to develop criteria (MB), and 12 children had criteria developing (BB). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the gross motor skills of children in the South Painan Kindergarten Dharma Wanita South Pesisir South Regency are under-developed criteria (BB).
The phenomenon in the field illustrates the low productivity of teachers in assigning tasks. This research aims to reveal the influence of: (1) Integrity of principal and work discipline to motivation of teacher achievement in SMK, (2) Integrity of principal to teacher work discipline in SMK Negeri Kota Padang, (3) Integrity of principal, work discipline and motivation achievement on teacher work productivity in SMK Negeri Kota Padang. The sample of the study amounted to 266 people. The research data was collected by Likert scale model questionnaire. Data were analyzed by moderation variable path analysis technique. The result of the research shows that: (1) There is direct and indirect influence significantly Integrity of school principal and work discipline of teacher toward achievement motivation, (2) There is direct and indirect influence significantly Integrity of principal to work discipline (3) There is direct influence and not significantly the integrity of the principal, work discipline and achievement motivation affect the productivity of teachers work.
