Abstract In Tunisia, psycho-oncology is a very recent and not particularly widespread discipline. The psychological well-being of cancer patients has not yet become part of the role of care-providers who work in the field of oncology. Therefore information and training is needed for careproviders to make them aware of improving carer-patient communication, to ensure a healthy therapeutic relationship. We are reporting on the experience of a team of Tunisian psycho-oncologists in the training of carer-patient communication.
