A new configuration that employs a conducting conformal strip to excite the low-profile equilaterial-triangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) of eery high permittivity is proposed. As compared with Contract grant sponsor : Strategic Research Grant, City University of Hong Kong Contract grant number : Project 9000928 MICROWAVE AND OF the previous aperture-coupling configuration, the new configuration has a wider impedance bandwidth (-5.5%) and a higher front-to-back radiation ratio. The return loss, radiation patterns, and antenna gain are measured and discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
