The goal of this study is to determine the level of fibre contained in bakso made from rice shiftings. The analysis employed gravimetric method with fibretherm apparatus. Firstly, the sample was defatted through n-hexanic soxhletation. After that, the gravimetric treatment was carried out in the apparatus to obtain the weight of the fibre. The data were then converted to percentage value. This step resulted the content of the fibre as following as 0.41; 0.23; 0.34; and 0.36% repectively for four samples. It shows that the level of those are below the standard of SNI 01-4439-1998.
The bioavailability of two 0.4 mg tamsulosin sustained-release film-coated tablet formulations was compared; using generic tablets (Prostam(®)) as test formulation and the originator product as reference formulation. Twenty-four subjects were included in this single-dose, open-label, randomized two-way crossover design following an overnight fasting. A one-week wash-out period was applied. Blood samples were drawn up to 72 h following drug administration. Plasma concentration of tamsulosin was determined by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method with TurboIonSpray mode. Pharmacokinetic parameters AUC(0-t,) AUC(0-∞), C (max) and t (½) were determined and used for bioequivalence evaluation after log-transformation, whereas t (max) ratios were evaluated non-parametrically. The estimated point and 90% confidence intervals (CI) for AUC(0-t,) AUC(0-∞), C (max) and t (½) were 109.55% (96.41-124.49%), 109.94% (96.85-124.81%), 105.87% (92.88-120.67%) and 100.00% (90.56-110.43%), respectively. These results indicated that the two formulations of tamsulosin were bioequivalent; therefore they may be prescribed interchangeably.
Changes in land use from forests into agricultural land raises many problems such as land to be limited so that people use agroforestry patterns as sources of income. This study aims to determine the pattern of agroforestry management and calculate the contribution of agroforestry to the total income of farmers. This research is located in Landi Kanusuang Village, Mapilli Polewali District, West Sulawesi. The method of data was done thought using purposive sampling on 30 respondents and making a plot sample size of 20mx50m as much as 10 plots. Data is processed and analyzed with descriptive and quantitative methods. The results showed that the composition of the type of agroforestry system consists of 8 types of plants with agroforestry system where the vertical structure of the agroforestry garden stands 3 strata. Strata A with a height of > 15 m, Strata B with a height of 5-15 m and strata C with a height of 1-5 m. In addition, the average income was Rp. 18,831,743.743/year with agroforestry contribution to the total income of farmers of 76.14%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
