Program pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu program yang dilakukan oleh tim pengusul untuk mendampingi gerakan literasi pendidikan kesetaraan melalui papan edukasi berbasis karakter di PKBM Nurain Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Tujuan penyelenggaraan program pengabdian ini adalah 1) Meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pendidikan kesetaraan pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris; 2) Mengaktifkan peserta didik dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris tanpa membebani faktor gradasi usia dalam belajar; 3) Meningkatkan kompetensi Bahasa Inggris peserta didik di dalam kelas, dan 4) Menunjang proses pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di dalam kelas. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian mandiri di PKBM Nurain, Desa Dunggala Kabupaten Bone Bolango ini lebih ditekankan pada tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pendidikan kesetaraan di PKBM Nurain. Melalui program ini baik dosen dapat mengaplikasikan pengetahuan, ilmu dan keterampilan maupun teknologi untuk menangani kekurangan dan permasalahan yang dihadapi peserta didik di PKBM Nurain Desa Dunggala.
Tujuan umum kegiatan ini adalah 1) Mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman belajar dalam masyarakat yang secara langsung menemukan, merumuskan, memecahkan, dan menanggulangi permasalahan yang terdapat di lapangan; 2) Mahasiswa dapat memberikan pemikiran dalam menumbuhkan dan mempercepat gerak dalam menyiapkan kader di masa depan; 3) Mahasiswa bisa menjadi lebih kompeten dalam menyikapi permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat Lokasi sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah Desa Dunggala yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Jumlah mahasiswa dalam kegiatan ini adalah 30 orang berasal dari Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari KKN ini adalah: 1)Manual book/ panduan aplikasi :a). Penjualan online (website bilingual); b). Desain grafis (Corel Draw dan Photoshop); c).Spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel); Artikel ilmiah hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan akan diterbitkan pada jurnal Pengabdian nasional ber ISSN/Prosiding.
The main purpose of this research is oriented to the description of communication strategies or interactions that occur in learning English speaking skills through a virtual platform. Specifically, the objectives of this research can be: 1) Describe the teacher's communication strategy in learning English speaking skills through virtual platforms in coastal schools; 2) Describe the interaction of students in learning English speaking skills through a virtual platform. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in coastal schools, in this case SMA Negeri 1 Bone Pantai. The instruments used in this study were field observations and open interviews. The finding of this research oriented to teacher’s intercation at platform meeting by considering some emotional feature such approving feeling, encouraging, receiving students’ ideas, asking questions, lecturing, and confering direction. The students’ interaction to the teacher have been implemented by students’ questions and giving inititation. They shared each other the first before asking more to the teacher, and even for the teacher, they just asked difficult words or expression. Tujuan utama penelitian ini berorientasi pada gambaran strategi komunikasi atau interaksi yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris melalui platform virtual. Secara spesifik, tujuan penelitian ini dapat berupa: 1) Mendeskripsikan strategi komunikasi guru dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris melalui platform virtual di sekolah pesisir; 2) Mendeskripsikan interaksi siswa dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris melalui platform virtual. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa di sekolah pesisir, dalam hal ini SMA Negeri 1 Bone Pantai. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi lapangan dan wawancara terbuka. Temuan penelitian ini berorientasi pada interaksi guru pada pertemuan platform dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa fitur emosional seperti menerima perasaan, memuji atau mendorong, menerima atau menggunakan ide siswa, mengajukan pertanyaan, ceramah, dan memberi arahan. Interaksi siswa dengan guru telah dilaksanakan dengan pertanyaan siswa dan pemberian inisiasi. Berkaitan dengan pelajaran bahasa Inggris, siswa berinteraksi dengan temannya dengan membicarakan kegiatan yang ditanyakan guru, mendiskusikan pertanyaan guru, dan menanyakan kata atau ungkapan yang sulit.
The importance of the existence of UMKM is able to support the surrounding economy and be able to revive other supporting local businesses. This community service aims to: 1) There is a need for community provision and understanding of the concept of digital-based marketing as a support for business activities in the village, 2) Facilitate access to village sales and production processes so that community businesses can run smoothly, 3) There is a need for bilingual digital eduliteration to the community as an effort in marketing in the village. This community service includes five stages including the preparation stage, the implementation stage, program preparation, program implementation, and reporting. At the preparatory stage, the team conducted a location survey and recruited participants for the service, and at the implementation stage there were several stages carried out by the team including: problem identification and needs analysis. The results of program implementation showed that the results of an internal meeting held by Ilomata KKNT students and the head of Ilomata Village had concluded several problems that would become priority work for students in Ilomata Village, including: 1) the problem of stunting; 2) Identity of UMKM in Ilomata Village; 3) Awareness of loose animal breeders. Each of these problems has been carried out by UNG KKNT students well through the stages of socialization and counseling, labeling of UMKM identities, as well as installing billboards related to regulations for loose animal breeders. The conclusion from this implementation is that every activity carried out is inseparable from the role of the Ilomata community, village government, and Bilato sub-district government in solving every problem faced by Ilomata village.
This study aims to 1) Identify the problems and needs of students towards teacher feedback on English Writing Skills at Tomini Bay Middle Schools; 2) Analyze what kind of teacher feedback preferences students want on English Writing Ability at Tomini Bay Area Secondary Schools; 3) Develop students' preferences for teacher feedback on English Writing Ability at Tomini Bay Area Middle School. This study describes the results of student preferences for teacher feedback on the results of English writing in the Tomini Bay area secondary schools based on the results of data in the form of numbers that show the most dominant priority and become the choice of students towards the aspects that are in the feedback of teacher to the students' writing. The results of this study indicate that the results of the analysis of the recapitulation of the dominance of the teacher's feedback category on students 'written English, the students' preferences for teacher feedback emphasize more direct feedback, namely the teacher writes the correct or approaching error correction form and provides a brief explanation of the answer is wrong. This analysis shows that students prefer to have direct feedback because from the score obtained the highest average score is in the type of direct feedback.
