The objective of this study was to produce valid and practical PISA-like mathematics problems on the content of uncertainty and data using football and table tennis contexts in the 2018 Asian Games. This study also aimed to find out the potential effect of the problems on the tenth-grade students’ mathematical literacy capability of the senior high school. This study was a design research with the type of development studies consisting of two stages, the preliminary and the formative evaluation. We obtained the data using walk-through, document, observation, interview, and test methods. We assessed the validity of the problems by using the validator assessment results towards the content, constructs, and language of the problems and also from the comments/suggestions of the students in one-to-one phase on the clarity/readability of the problems. The indicator of the problems’ practicality was reflected when the students were able to understand the problems well and it was shown in the small group phase. The answers of 33 students involved in the field test showed that the problems had the potential effect, showing the capability of communication and representation. On the problem with football context, six students answered with communication capability and three students with representation capability. On the problem with table tennis context, twenty students answered with communication capability, while five students with representation capability.
This research aims at (1)producing a valid and practical LKS (Student Worksheet) in discovery learning model in two circles intersection material in class XI, and (2) to find out the potential effect toward the learning outcomes from the development of LKS with discovery learning model in two circles intersections material in class XI MIA. The design ofthis research is a developmental study. The subjects of this research were 33 students of XI MIA 1 SMA N 1 Indralaya in academic year 2015/2016. The data collecting technique used were observation, test, and interview. The result of the researches were : (1) This research produced a valid and practical LKS with discovery learning model in two circles intersections material in class XI MIA withsome characteristics such as, (a) Contain the operational steps of discovery learning model, (b) Help students in finding the concept of two circles intersections model. (c) Make students active in learning. Being valid can be seen from the results of validator assessment, where the validator comments on the first prototype of LKS from content, construct, and language. Being practical can be seen from the results of small group try out, in which it was based on analysis of the answer sheets of students, it was found that students were able to complete each steps there and students’ comments obtained from the sheets that stated the LKS given was easy to be done by students. (2) The developed LKS consisted of potential effect toward the learning outcomes from cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skill). In the cognitive domain 81.81% of students got score > 65, in the affective domain all of the students had shown an attitude of honesty and responsiveness shown by observations during LKS usage, as well as in the of psychomotor domain skills all of students had good skill that seen from the result of students performance.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada pembelajaran matematika berdasarkan tipe kepribadian peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 6 orang peserta didik SMP Tunas Teladan Palembang pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Pengambilan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, berdasarkan tipe kepribadian peserta didik. Analisis data pada penelitian adalah analisis data kualitatif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari penelitian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: (1) peserta didik dengan tipe kepribadian ekstrovert mampu memenuhi indikator pemecahan masalah pada tahap memahami masalah, menyusun rencana dan menyelesaikan masalah, tetapi belum memenuhi indikator pada tahap memeriksa kembali (2) peserta didik dengan tipe kepribadian introvert mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator pemecahan masalah pada tahap memahami masalah, menyusun rencana, menyelesaikan masalah dan memeriksa kembali.
Abstrak. Bahan ajar yang interaktif sangat diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu materi pada pembelajaran matematika yang memerlukan bahan ajar interaktif adalah bangun ruang sisi datar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis komputer pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar untuk kelas VIII SMP yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Development Research dengan dua tahapan, yaitu tahap preliminary dan tahap prototyping menggunakan alur formative evaluation yang terdiri dari self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one dan small group. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi dan angket kepraktisan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP . Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar berbasis komputer pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar yang tergolong valid berdasarkan lembar validasi dan komentar ahli. Validator menyimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang di kembangkan ini telah baik dari segi konten, desain, kualitas teknis dan menyatakan layak untuk diujicobakan. Sedangkan kepraktisan dari bahan ajar dinilai dari hasil angket respon siswa dan wawancara pada tahap one-to-one dan small group. Siswa menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar mudah digunakan, membantu siswa menguasai materi bangun ruang sisi datar, dan tertarik untuk menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis komputer.Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Penelitian Pengembangan, Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar
