Divorcement rate in Banyuwangi district is the second rank in East Java province below Surabaya and third rank in national scale below Indramayu and Surabaya. In 2014, there are 7.106 cases that involve 6.798 couples. This research is aimed to identify the factors that cause divorce high rate in Banyuwangi district. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design that using a phenomenological perspective. Purposive sampling method was used and the samples in this research were 40 widows and widowers from 4 sub-districts in Banyuwangi with the highest divorce cases. Data was analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis.The results shows that divorce was be caused by internal and external factors. Internal factors, namely economy (37,5 percent), responsibility (15 percent), and harmony (17,5 percent). Whereas external factors are infidelity (30 percent). The result of this study will be a recommendation in formulating a prenuptial education learning model based on family and school approaches in Banyuwangi district.
Local wisdom is diversity in the form of social practices which are based on wisdom from culture. The form of local wisdom in society can be in the form of culture (values, norms, ethics, beliefs, customs, customary laws, and special rules. The result of this research is that the elephant oling batik motif can shape the character of the person seen from its meaning that teaches about the value of goodness. This can be proven in every philosophy contained in every oling elephant batik motif, starting from the coconut leaf motif symbolizing that humans must be like coconut everything has benefits, the jasmine leaf pattern symbolizes that we must be pure, clean, and sincere, the dilem leaf motif comes from a kind. bush plants that can grow anywhere and have medicinal properties, and the elephant's trunk motif symbolizes the greatness of God Almighty, so that the philosophy contained in the oling elephant motif reflects the values of Pancasila, because hierarchically the pyramid of Pancasila, the first precept of God Almighty animate the four principles of Pancasila, which means that humans believe and respect God Almighty as the foundation of faith in living their daily lives.
Human life is closely related to the environment but still lacks a sense of concern and responsibility for the environment, so it is necessary to implement character education caring for the environment. Character education that cares for the environment is a process of developing a conscious attitude as part of the environment, so that it seeks to prevent and repair damage to nature and strive to preserve the environment for future generations. The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of character education caring for the environment through the Adiwiyata Program for Kalibaru State Vocational High School students in the success of the Banyuwangi Merdeka Program from Plastics. The research method used in this research is qualitative. The subjects in this study were the principal, educators and students. Data collection was carried out by observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis technique which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, then drawing a conclusion. The results showed that character education caring for the environment through the Adiwiyata program was in line with the Banyuwangi Regency government program, namely freedom from plastic and the program was running well. The program of activities includes clean Friday, healthy Friday, taqwa Friday, daily and weekly routine pickets and programs free from plastic waste. In addition, it also limits the sale of food using plastic media, and urges school residents to bring food and drink containers from home. Through this program, students care more about preserving and cleaning the environment. This is evident from the clean and beautiful conditions of the Kalibaru State Vocational School environment.
The village administration system functions as a guard, guide, mobilizer and service. Village communities need services to meet needs that cannot be fulfilled by themselves. This study aims to determine public perceptions of the performance of the village government of Bomo Blimbingsari Banyuwangi in providing services to community members. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive with a phenomological approach. The subjects in this study consisted of the village administration and members of the Bomo village community. Data collection is done by observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis techniques including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, then drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that community perceptions of the performance of the village government of Bomo, Blimbingsari Banyuwangi sub-district in providing services to residents 76 percent of people consider that it is good enough and satisfying. This is evidenced by friendly, fast, and timely services, while 24 percent consider it less satisfactory because they must go back and forth in completing the file. The traditional game of karetan / pelencatan is the term of traditional game for Using tribe in Banyuwangi Regency. The traditional game of karetan / pelencatan uses a simple materials or tools from woven rubber bands (rubber bands strands). According to the size of agreement, usually about 3 or 4 meters in length, which is played in an open space and quite wide. The method used in this research is the ethnographic qualitative. This research examines the values of character building in traditional game of karetan / pelencatan in the community of Kemiren and Kabat village, whose the majority population is Using tribe. Data collection techniques used is observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the research on children's traditional games of karetan / pelencatan not only as a playing facility, but also as a medium to shape the children's character, such as; belief in the power of the One Almighty God, honesty in the game, hard work in achieving victory, national spirit, and interaction with the social environment.
