Quranic education is an obligation for every Muslim. It is the responsibility of parents and teachers to help students in learning the Koran to become noble human beings who are in accordance with the purpose of their learning. Innovation in education and teaching the Koran with multi and trans approaches, strategies and methods, media is very important. This article finds that the sociology approach based on the community and the contextual approach in learning and teaching the Koran as well as the planting of Islamic education values, namely the values of Aqedah, the value of worship, and moral values through the Khatmil Quran activities make contextual learning fun and beneficial for students. Habituation in a series of Khatmil Quran activities can make students have the provision of contextual and useful knowledge when they finish their education from an Islamic education institution.
