Mathematics learning on high school should be associated with other sciences and everyday life. In this way, the mathematics learning is more realistic, interesting and meaningful. However, re-ality shows that mathematics learning materials has not been associated with other sciences and eve-ryday life. Initial research find that needs to be develop contextual mathematics material. Before the learning materials are prepared, it is important to know the characteristics of learners in following the learning of mathematics that affect the learning outcomes. There are five factors that influence the learning outcomes, namely background, interest, attitude, motivation and learning styles The purpose of research is to determine the factors that influence learning outcomes. Type of this research is de-scriptive research. The instruments are assessment sheets for learners characteristics and test. The results is factors that influence the learning outcomes of learners directly for the development needs of contextual mathematics teaching materials to integrate related knowledge and realistic approach is the learning style.
Real Analysis is the subjects to help the students in critical thought. Students must have the definitions and theorems to solve the problems and perform a process which is often called the preliminary analysis. After that, students construct the proof based on the preliminary analysis. Based on observations, questionnaires and discussions with some of teacher of elementary school found many problems geometric and fraction material. The problems are: 1. In general, teachers have not used interactive media in explaining mathematic materials, so students are difficult to understand the subject, 2. Teachers have not yet facilitated various learning styles of students, 3. Students' assumptions on difficult mathematical subjects (full of numbers and symbols), so they are phobic with math, 4. Teachers urgently need the consolidation of geometrical and fraction materials through the creation of interactive media that match the material and characteristics of students, 5. Teachers desperately need training on how to design and create interactive media that can interest students to learn on geometry and fraction materials, so that students are no longer fobs with math and can easily understand the material well, 6. Teachers desperately need training on the use / utilization of interactive media that has been created in teaching the geometry and fraction materials. To solve the problem, team try to provide solutions to these problems by providing training on how to design, create and use interactive media especially plane geometry and fraction. The result of training, teachers are already able to design and make interactive media. They can explain plane geometry and fraction material easily, especially how to find the formula of area for instance rectangle, triangle, trapezium, etc. Further impact, students more easily understand the material well.
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who have not the ability to recognize their emotions.The aims of this study were: (1) Profile of self-awareness of students before treatment, (2) Profile of self-awareness of students after treatment, (3) The effectiveness of thedevelopmental program counseling based on information technology (IT) to improving their ability to recognize emotions. This study uses a quantitative approach, by types of experimental research. The location of this research is at SMK Negeri 1 Painan. The samples in this study were 30 students in class XI OTKP 1 (experimental group) and 30 students in class XI PHT 1 (control group). The data collected questionnaire technique, and was analyzed by Ancova technique. The research finding : 1) The level of self-awareness before treatment was classified as low, both in the experimental class and the control class. 2) The level of Self Awareness after the treatment underwent significant changes, especially in the experimental group. 3) Program developmental counseling based on information technology (IT) effective to significantly to increasing students ability self awareness. Based on research finding, it is recommended to the counselor to using a guidelines developmental program counseling to improving students' ability self awareness
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti peningkatan hasil belajar matematika kelas I melalui media kartu bilangan di SD Negeri 58 Payakumbuh. Hal ini dikarekan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas I SD Negeri 58 Payakumbuh. Untuk meneliti lebih lanjut mengenai hal ini, maka penulis mengambil permasalah penelitian sebagai berikut: Apakah dengan mengunakan media kartu bilangan akan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Matematika di kelas I SD N 58 Payakumbuh? Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan melakukan pengamatan dan penilaian selama proses belajar mengajar berlangsung. Setelah menyelesaikan penelitian ini penulis menyimpulkan pembelajaran yang menggunakan Media Kartu Angka yang bervariasi menghilangkan kejenuhan siswa dan menghindari siswa dengan pengertian-pengertian yang abstrak.
