This research conducted in one construction company in Indonesia, the company was facing several problems, many projects that already ended have delays. Overdue payment one of the projects can reach Rp 252.544.148.-. For calculating late payment that the company can save researcher using Critical Path Method (CPM)-Crashing. CPM-Crashing method can accelerate project duration by increase resource budget, so company doesn’t need to pay overdue payment. The result of CPM-Crashing is company can save Rp. 227.584.147.-late payment. To anticipate project delay proper planning is required. One of project planning method is project scheduling. Great loss because of the overdue amount, the company must evaluate their project schedule. The Researcher using CPM-Project Evaluation Review Technic (PERT) and Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) both methods can give new project schedule. CPM-PERT can give probability project finish and CCPM can give new project schedule. The result of this research is probability project is not delay is very low that is only 55% project can finish on time, the company must try CCPM schedule.
This research was conducted at the biggest instant noodle manufacturing company in South East Asia. In the process of producing instant noodle, there is inability to reach the target number of production, this is due to quality factor and waste in the use of raw material. Research uses lean six sigma method. In the defi ne phase, the process of identifi cation of waste is carried out by making Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Waste Assessment Model (WAM) to fi nd out the dominant waste. At the measure phase, the CTQ is decided and calculates the sigma level. In the analyze phase, analysis is done by using Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT),determining the type of dominant defect through the Pareto diagram and knowing the causes of defects with fi shbone diagram. In the improve phase, improvement is made based on the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value that is known through the FMEA method. At the control phase, the handle process is carried out so that repairs are carried out continuously. The research fi nds the highest waste weight is due to defective products of 25.03%, sigma value of 4.75, and activities that gives value added (VA) had the highest percentage of 71.31%.The conclusion of this research is the improvement recommendations that is given to reduce the cause of failure of cutter of label machine cuts body label on the type of failure of the label sealer cutting process is not suitable with standard. The improvement step is to close the distance up between the conveyor and the conveyor table in the wrapping area This study aims to overview the ability of ventilated blades to improve the performance of the Savonius rotor based on CFD simulation. Rotor performance is analyzed by static torque, pressure profi le, a airfl ow profi le and vortex area.
This research is specifically aimed at elementary school teachers who have a big role in the child's education process. Perfect education is of course visualized by balancing all abilities and potentials within the child. Researchers want educators to be able to consider taking a bigger role in instilling students' emotional intelligence. In this study, the method used is mixed methods, which means combining two forms of research that have existed before, namely quantitative and qualitative research. Qualitative research is research that is descriptive in nature and uses a lot of analysis with an inductive approach. The qualitative approach emphasizes meaning, definition of certain conditions, and examines matters relating to everyday life. The conclusion from this study is that teachers should be able to provide advice and provide examples of exemplary attitudes for students to emulate, such as by providing examples in daily actions. Give a simple parable but can be understood by students. By giving parables such as profit and loss, to teach students that what we do can bring good (profit) or actually bring bad (loss) and also gives other parables such as cause and effect, so that students understand that what they do will have an impact on them.
Service quality is important because it makes prices more affordable, and also fulfils customer satisfaction. This bolsters trust for customers, and thereby encourages them to keep buying products at retail stores. This research uses Quality Service Analysis method to understand the gap between customers’ expectations regarding service attributes and their perceived satisfaction level. This study also uses the method of Importance and Performance Analysis to determine an attribute’s category. Therefore, it can determine which priorities should be reinforced to improve customer satisfaction. Through SERVQUAL analysis, there are 10 known attributes of each retailer that has the highest gap score. Through IPA analysis, we know that Alfamart has 7 attributes which warrant serious attention from management. This is due to the high expectations of customers on the indicator, and the fact that the management has not managed well. Meanwhile, Indomaret has 9 attributes that warrant serious attention from management.
<p>This research aims to improve the quality of processes and products on PT Rackindo Setara Perkasa, especially in Meja A edging process. This research is using six sigma method with the steps of DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, control). The results of this research is there are three types of defects that found in the edging process. The defects are existing on paper connection, paper edging is not long enough and the maal edging is stuck. Based on the Pareto diagram, the improvements focused on the problem of paper connection and paper edging that is not long enough. Both defects are analyzed using the fishbone diagram to describe the causes of defects. From the analysis that uses 5W1H and solution tree, the conclusion of this study are the identification of several factors that cause defects, and recommendations for improvement in edging process, by making a training for the operators of edging process, making the written SOP on edging machine, making instructions about the engine setting, additional facilities on the roller of edging machine and the addition of compressor unit. By doing the improvement, it is expected an increase of sigma value from 4,22 into 4,71.</p><p>Keywords: Six Sigma, DMAIC, Statistical Tools, Capability Process, 5W1H</p>
