Abstrak: Pemanfaatan TIK dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan software dimana tujuannya adalah untuk menciptakan pembelajaran matematika yang aktif, kreatif dan menyenangkan. Software Geogebra merupakan program komputer yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika. Berbagai fitur pada Geogebra dapat digunakan untuk mendemontrasikan atau memvisualisasikan konsep-konsep matematis terutama konsep geometri yang bersifat abstrak. Namun sebagian besar guru matematika SMP di Rokan Hulu belum mengetahui cara pemanfaatan software ini. Oleh karena itu dilaksanakan program kemitraan masyarakat melalui komunitas MGMP SMP wilayah I kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Kegiatan ini dilaksankan dalam bentuk pendampingan, pembimbingan dan pelatihan. Evaluasi yang dilakukan selama pelaksanaan pelatihan terlihat peserta pelatihan antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan, dimana 98,75% peserta sudah mampu menggunakan Geogebra pada objek-objek dasar geometri. Peserta juga memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam menggunakan Geogebra pada materi geometri bidang sebesar 96,50%. Selanjutnya peserta juga mampu dalam menggunakan Geogebra pada bangun ruang yaitu 90% peserta memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam menggambarkan bangun ruang dan unsur-unsurnya.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Matematika; Software Geogebra. Abstract: In following the development of education in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 teachers are required to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) in learning. ICT Utilization in mathematics learning can be done using software where the goal is to create an active, creative and enjoyable math learning. Geogebra Software is a computer program that can be used as a math learning medium. Various features of Geogebra can be used to demonstrate or visualize mathematical concepts especially abstract geometry concepts. However, most of SMP mathematics teachers in Rokan Hulu do not know how to use this software. Therefore implemented Community Partnership program through MGMP community. This activity is carried out in the form of mentoring, coaching and training. Evaluation conducted during training implementation was seen enthusiastic trainees in training, where 98.75% of participants were already able to use Geogebra on basic objects of geometry such as drawing points, lines through two points, Line segments, parallel lines, and perpendicular lines. Participants also have a good ability to use Geogebra on material geometry fields of 96.50% include describing the build of quadrilateral and circles, calculating large of angel, calculating the area of polygons and the length of the side of the polygon. Furthermore, participants were also able to use Geogebra on the space geometry that is 90% of participants have a good ability to draw the space shape og geometry and its elements, also create animations in the formation of nets from space geometry.Keywords: Mathematics Learning, Software Geogebra
The low ability of students' mathematical connections is caused by the lack of linking learning with previous material and the tendency of students to memorize concepts or formulas. This study aims to see whether there is an effect of the CORE learning model on the mathematical connection ability of grade VIII students of SMPN 3 Rambah. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a Two-Group Posttest Only research design. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 3 Rambah. Sampling using simple random sampling technique, class VIII.3 as the experimental class, and class VIII.1 as the control class. The CORE learning model is applied in the practical class, while conventional learning is applied in the control class. The mathematical connection ability data obtained by the test technique. The instrument used was a valid and reliable mathematical connection ability test item. Data analysis was performed for hypothesis testing. Based on the prerequisite test results, it was found that the data were not normally distributed, so that the hypothesis testing was carried out using the Mann Whitney test. The result of the calculation is 3.81 > 1.96 with a value of 0.05, so reject H0 so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of the CORE learning model on the mathematical connection ability of grade VIII students of SMPN 3 Rambah.
Salah satu modal menjadi guru yang profesional adalah menguasai keterampilan dasar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penguasan keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Universitas pasir pengaraian pada praktek micro teaching. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto yaitu mengungkapkan fakta yang terjadi tanpa ada manipulasi variabel atau menciptakan kondisi tertentu. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika yang mengambil mata kuliah micro teaching pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 sebanyak 23 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi dan observasi. Instrument penelitian adalah angket yang telah divalidasi oleh pakar yaitu dosen pengampu micro teaching. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan tingkat penguasaan keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa berdasarkan tabel kecenderungan dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Melalui Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan membimbing diskusi berada pada kategori sangat terampil. Keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan memberi penguatan dan keterampilan membuat variasi dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori terampil. Keterampilan mengelola kelas berada pada kategori cukup terampil sedangkan keterampilan membuka dan menutup pembelajaran termasuk ke dalam kriteria tidak terampil. This research aimed to have valid information about basic teaching skill of Educational Mathematics Study Program at University of Pasir Pengaraian by practicing it in micro teaching subject. This is description quantitative research by using ex post facto method that revelaled the fact in the field without any manipulation of variable or making a good condition. The subject of this research is the student of Educational Mathematics Study Program who took a micro teaching subject in academic years 2015/2016 those were 23 sudents. The data were collected by documentation and observation. The instrument of research is questionnaire which was validated by expert of micro teachings. The data were analized by description technique that can describe level basic of teaching skill of the students that can be seen in willingness table that has been decided. The result of this research concluced that guiding discussion skill was at exellence category, the explaning skill, question skill, reinforcement skill and make the variation stimulus skill were all in good ability category. Kajian mengenai profil kemampuan koneksi matematis penting untuk dilakukan sebagai langkah awal untuk melakukan evaluasi demi memperbaiki kualitas kemampuan siswa. Ketidakpahaman siswa pada suatu konsep akan mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa pada konsep yang lain. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran dalam kaitannya dengan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematis. Objek penelitian adalah siswa SMPN 1 dan SMPN 2 Kepenuhan tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 17 dan 24 siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui pemberian tes koneksi matematis. Analisis data dengan menghitung persentase nilai siswa pada setiap indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa SMPN 1 dan SMPN 2 Kepenuhan sangat rendah dengan rata-rata masing-masing 40,52 dan 7,41. Indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis yang paling sulit bagi siswa SMPN 1 Kepenuhan adalah menghubungkan antara matematika dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Sedangkan indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis yang paling sulit bagi siswa SMPN 2 Kepenuhan adalah menghubungkan berbagai konsep dalam matematika.
Video has become one of the main learning tools in distance learning systems. Students as prospective teachers must be able to make quality and interesting videos. One easy-to-use application for creating videos is Microsoft powerpoint. The purpose of this study is to describe the difficulty of students in making learning videos using Microsoft PowerPoint. The research subject is a 5th semester student who took the learning media course on condition that he has passed computer courses I. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are qualitatively covering reduction, presenting data, verifying and checking back. Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that the difficulty of students in making learning videos is that students still have less knowledge in operating Microsoft powerpoint, less creative in designing video displays, low explaining skills and students still have low computer specifications.
