The paper established an inappropriate relationship of text and image that should interact in one whole package of online news. It applied Semiotics analysis to go under the problems occurred. The analysis was developed to respond the question: why should be the text and image in online news associated? Do they match? Developed in three levels of analysis processes-analysis of relevant engagement in text and image; extended analysis of discursive relationship involved in news that turned to hoax; the intention of attaching the misplaced image to the text. This paper used qualitative Semiotics analysis to illustrate malfunction of text and image in online news. It is wished to be able to enhance the accuracy of a news.
Sentiment analysis as part of text mining research domain has been being recognized due to the successful implementation in social media analysis. Sentiment analysis methods had intelligent ability to classify texts into negative or positive. Classified texts concluded whole users respond and described opinion polarity about particular topic. Based on this idea, this research took e-learning’s users opinion as object to be measured through sentiment analysis. The results can be used to evaluate the e-learning activity. This research had been implemented in Widyatama University which had been running e-learning activity for several years. Qualitative method by given questioner to users and gather the feedback is commonly used as evaluation of e-learning system previously. Still, questioner doesn’t represent the conclusion about the whole opinion. Hence, it needs the method to identify opinion polarity from e-learning member. The e-learning opinion data sets were gathered from questioner filled by e-learning member included both student and lecturer as participants. The participants gave review about learning outcome after their participation in e-learning activity. Their opinion was needed to describe current situation about e-learning activity. Therefore, the conclusion could be used to make improvement and described few achievements about the e-learning system. The data sets trained by Naïve Bayes classifier to group each user respond into negative or positive. The classification results were also evaluated by a number of particular evaluation metric used in data mining to show the classifier performance such as accuracy, precision, and recall.
Train is the main mode of transportation that we often use, the train itself can be used as a tool for shipping goods and mobilizing passengers, this transportation is very unique and has its own path in the form of steel strings across from hundreds of kilometers, railroad bearing structures currently exist which uses concrete and wood, the railroad is very vital and is an important supporting facility. The process of railroad monitoring is complex and complicated, takes a long time, the previous method is simple and conventional by tracing the railroad tracks manually or using a geometric gauge mounted direl or also known as railpod, railpod will follow the rails and will provide report if there is a train track that is damaged, broken or shifted, this research will create an image-based monitoring system using drones as a track monitor, another way is to take pictures using satellite data that will provide clear information about road conditions before being passed by the train, the railroad data processing system by using image processing can display visual responses up to cm in size, the response appears if there is a shift in the path then the system directly provides data in the form of location and shifting paths on the main computer, this system is more c eTat in checking and analyzing train track data with high accuracy and precision up to 90%, in addition to imagery from satellite images can use drones, drones themselves are very easy in maintenance and use and are able to cut production costs and even workplace accidents in the field workers themselves can be avoided because the drone is able to reach the track and railroad that is difficult for example through the tunnel or the railroad track along the hills and densely populated.
Basically, information system design is fundamental to the long-term sustainability of information systems. Information system architecture is a reference in developing and building new information systems if the current system is no longer able to support the activities of an organization or company. There are various information system development methods and there are various information systems architecture models. The choice of using methods and models must be carefully considered so that the information system created is right on target. A variety of techniques will be introduced to enrich knowledge in choosing development methods and architectural models that suit the needs of the organization.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
