According to the requirement of collaborative product development, a networked collaborative design and manufacturing system is put forward. A neuter digital assembly model which is independent from all kinds of the commercial CAD software is set up. The quick planning of the assembly sequences and the automatic search of the assembly dimension chain can be realized by the simulation.
In this paper, a layout is designed for reclaimed rubber factory by applying systematic layout planning (SLP) method. Considering the enterprise current situation and future development plan, the relation graph for all workshops in the company is obtained by analyzing material and non- material flows, and two feasible layout plans are put forward. Applying the comparative law of equivalent flow capacity, these two plans are compared, and then the final objective and optimal design is obtained. With this layout redesign, the logistics operational efficiency is improved, and the production system is optimized.
Employee performance evaluation is a key part for the enterprises to improve human resource management. It provides a way of managing and motivating staff for modern enterprises. In order to solve the problem of performance appraisal for the employees of manufacturing enterprise, a model of multi-role-based performance appraisal is put forward based on the comprehensive analysis of organizational structure. Taking sales manager of a manufacturing enterprise as an example, with the integrated using of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE), the method of performance evaluation is proposed, which provides a reference for performance appraisal of manufacturing enterprise.
Considering the four “collaboration paradoxes” that commonly referred to, this paper introduces the automorphism theory and metadata ontology approaches into SCM. With an objective of providing a theoretical lens to show and solve the essential supply chain collaboration issues, this paper proposes the Extended Supply-Chain Operations Reference-Model (eSCOR), and its associated definitions, layers, sub-models followed by the discussions of two typical business elements: objects versus flows. Specifically, this paper confirms the supply chain automorphism within the eSCOR, and discusses its characteristics of self-symmetry as the solution to the four paradoxes mentioned before. This paper closes with insights gained from this study and extensions for future researches.
