This study examines and analyzes the new construction of the concept of religious tourism through mosques with the history of Islam behind it. In addition to tombs, mosques become a destination for religious tourism locations, namely religiously motivated religious tourism, to get closer to God Almighty. Visiting mosques can be a means to improve the side of individual spirituality, through aspects of worship that can be done in it; Also, able to promote religious understanding through a variety of religious studies that are routinely carried out. But apparently, some mosques have historical stories of the development of Islam in them. Through this story, the pilgrims were able to understand the role of the mosque in attaching the unity of the surrounding community against the invaders; mosques become the center of civilization. Through new construction and the development of religious tourism, the mosque insists that it is not only a place of worship; but also, as the center of civilization; community unifying area. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies related to mosques in the DKI Jakarta area. The findings in this study indicate the destination of mosques in the DKI Jakarta area, which can show its identity as the center of civilization; as a unifying society in the fight against invaders in the past. Selain makam, masjid menjadi satu destinasi lokasi wisata religi, yakni wisata keagamaan yang bermotif spiritual, dengan tujuan mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Abstrak: Nahdlatul Ulama merupakan salah satu organisasi Islam terbesar di Indonesia. Organisasi ini lahir tentu dari para tokoh-tokoh besar yang menggawanginya, salah satunya Mahbud Djunaidi. Kemampuan politiknya diperoleh dari berbagai pengalaman organisasi dan kemampuan dalam kepenulisan. Adapun permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana riwayat politik Mahbub Djunaidi sebagai aktivis politik Nahdlatul Ulama pada tahun 1960-1987. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan perjalanan politik Mahbub Djunaidi (1960-1987). Berdasarkan permasalahan dan tujuan penelitian tersebut, maka metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis yang terdiri dari tahap heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mahbub Djunaidi memiliki konsep khittah plus. This organization was born of course from the big figures who oversee it, one of them Mahbud Djunaidi. His political abilities are obtained from various organizational experiences and abilities in writing. The problem raised in this research is how the political history of Mahbub Djunaidi as a political activist of Nahdlatul Ulama in 1960-1987. Based on these problems, this study aims to describe the political journey of Mahbub Djunaidi (1960-1987). Based on the problems and objectives of the research, the method used is the historical method which consists of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography stages. The results of the study show that Mahbub Djunaidi has the concept of khittah plus. Political democracy in the style of Mahbub Djunaidi is the ideal of democracy which is fought for through political lines. Keywords: Mahbub Djunaidi, Political Democracy, Nahdlatul Ulama.

ABSTACT This Community Service Activity is an activity based on community assistance to write and produce a local history product for its own environment. This is based on an analysis of the situation and needs of the people who do not have historical records and only rely on memories. The method used is service learning, which is divided into two activities that are synchronous and asynchronous. Synchronous consists of delivering material and presentations, while asynchronous is in the form of guidance on writing Karawang toponyms. The participants who took part in this Community Service Activity were 62 history teachers who produced a history book on the toponym of Karawang. The results of this dedication show that history teachers have a strong interest in toponymy or local history. The process of finding sources, both literature study and field visits, provides an experience of researching history that strengthens soft skills in historical research.   ABSTRAK Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah sebuah kegiatan yang berbasis pendampingan masyarakat untuk menulis dan menghasilkan sebuah produk sejarah lokal lingkungannya sendiri. Hal ini didasarkan atas sebuah analisis situasi kebutuhan masyarakat yang belum memiliki catatan sejarahnya dan hanya mengandalkan ingatan saja. Metode yang digunakan  adalah service learning yang terbagi  menjadi  dua  kegiatan  yaitu synchronous dan asynchronous. Anchronous terdiri atas penyampaian materi dan presentasi, sedangkan asynchronous berupa bimbingan penulisan toponim karawang. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan PkM ini adalah sebanyak 62 guru sejarah yang menghasilkan sebuah buku sejarah mengenai toponim Karawang. Hasil pengabdian  ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru sejarah memiliki ketertarikan yang kuat terhadap toponimi atau sejarah local. Proses pencarian sumber, baik study literatur dan kunjungan lapangan, memberikan sebuah pengalaman meneliti sejarah yang memperkuat sofskill dalam penelitian sejarah.
