Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran, Mind Mapping, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT The study was conducted to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students. This study was an experiment by Pre Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was all grade eight students of SMPN 8 Sungai Penuh. The sample was determined using the randomized sample technique, which samples were class VIII-A. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there was a difference in the average student learning outcomes before and after using the mind mapping learning model with the average difference between pretest and posttest was 14.00. Based on the Wilcoxon test results, it is known that the significance value is 0.00 < 0.05, which indicates that the Mind Mapping learning model affects student learning outcomes.
