This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the digital books’ usage in increasing student motivation in XII IPS 3 class at SMAN Pakusari Jember. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The use of digital books in learning is useful to make it easier for students to learn and it also can reduce the weaknesses in printed books. The students feel easy and confortable to use them in learning process, so it increases the students’ motivation at XII IPS 3 of SMAN Pakusari. The results showed that the use of digital books was very effective in increasing student motivation. The score of student learning motivation before using digital books is at a value of 3.4 which is included in the medium category. After using digital books in the learning process, the student’s motivation score increased to 4.5 which is in the high category. For further research, it is hoped that researcher can use digital books with more complete features and materials than the digital books used in this study.
<em>On the production floor CV. There are 6 work stations that produce wooden dollhouses. All activities carried out by workers are carried out simply with irregular production floors where workers put the tools and materials used out of place which causes the workspace to be more narrow and work risks arise. To correct this, an analysis of the work environment will be carried out using 5S. The formulation of the problem is done through observations made on the production floor CV. RB. The review is carried out on the current work environment layout and the problems that occur in it. The identification results are used as a basis for compiling the concept of applying 5S in accordance with the characteristics of the production floor CV. RB. Analysis of the impact caused by the existing conditions is the result of observations and interviews with relevant parties. Furthermore, this research will give a proposal to solve the problems in the production of dollhouses using 5S. One of the improvements made is the provision of training on the basic concepts of 5S. By using 5S there will be improvements where workers will become disciplined, reduce waste and work risks.</em>
Pergeseran kegiatan pembelajaran yang semula dilakukan secara tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran online menuntut siswa memiliki kemandirian belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Google Classroom terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri Ambulu Jember. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Banyaknya sampel yang digunakan ditentukan melalui teknik proportionate random sampling dan rumus Slovin. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 60 siswa kelas XII IPS. Uji instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Uji asumsi klasik yang digunakan terdiri dari uji normalitas dan heteroskedastisitas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t dengan SPSS 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian membuktikan H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya penggunaan Google Classroom berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri Ambulu Jember yang dapat dilihat dari nilai t hitung = 10,814 > t tabel = 2,000 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan penggunaan Google Classroom berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa sebesar 66,8% sedangkan sisanya 33,2% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak diteliti, seperti gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar.
In the 2013 curriculum structure, accounting material in economic subjects for the social sciences programs at the Senior High School level given when students are already in class XII. Those phenomena often become an obstacle for both students and teachers, because the material discussed is quite a lot while the adequate time of face-to-face learning in class is minimal. These limitations cause students to be less optimal in achieving their result study because students are still dependent on the learning process is given by the teacher in class. This article aims to explain the importance of using online-based learning media to enhance students’ self-directed learning and improve their result study on accounting chapter of economics subjects. The method of this article uses a literature review study and the discussion based on the variety of related studies to the use of online-based learning media in the form of e-learning on students’ self-directed learning and students’ result study. The use of e-learning can encourage students to learn independently to overcome the limited face-to-face time on accounting material. Self-directed learning helps students to understand accounting material quickly so that it will have an impact on increasing their result study. It concluded that the use of online-based learning media could improve students’ self-directed learning and result study on accounting chapter of economics subjects.
