This study aims to find out the types of figurative language found in David Campbell’s poem “Night Sowing” and their translation “Menyemai di Malam Hari” and to find out the meanings of the figurative language found in David Campbell’s poem “Night Sowing” and their translation “Menyemai di Malam Hari”. This study used the theory proposed by Larson (1998:121). In collecting data, this study used the library research method, and the data were collected in some steps to obtain appropriate and sufficient data. The steps in getting the data of this writing were done by reading attentively and accurately with the focus on the figurative languages in the poem. The result of study revealed that metonymy, idiom and personification are the types of figurative languages found in the data source. In translating the idiomatic expression, it needs the proper strategy so that the meaning in the source language can still be maintained.

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Banjar Babakan Canggu Badung ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris dasar bagi warga Banjar Babakan Canggu dengan memberikan pelatihan.  Program pelatihan Bahasa Inggris Dasar ini dilaksanakan berkat Kerjasama antara Prodi Bahasa Inggris, Universitas Bali Dwipa dan masyarakat sekitar di Banjar Babakan Canggu Badung Bali. Kegiatan Pengabmas dalam bentuk pelatihan Bahasa Inggris dasar ini diselenggrakan selama 4 bulan di wilayah Br. Babakan Canggu, Kuta Utara, Badung. Adapun Metode persuasive yang diaplikasikan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan berdasarkan observasi yaitu dengan mengamati fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Adapun pelatihan yang diberikan kepada peserta antara lain pelatihan Bahasa Inggris dasar.Semua peserta yang merupakan warga Br. Babakan Canggu nampak sangat antusias di dalam mengikuti pelatihan Bahasa Inggris dasar ini. Setelah diberikan pelatihan Bahasa Inggris dasar, kemampuan Bahasa Inggris para peserta meningkat dilihat dari kemampuan berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris. Proses pelatihan bahasa Inggris ini diberikan kepada warga Br. Babakan, canggu didasari atas tulus iklas.

This research focused on the language being used in Regulation Number 40 year 2007 regarding limited liability company in Indonesia and the data is taken from Regulation Number 40 year 2007 regarding limited liability company in Indonesia that is collected randomly so the technique that will be used in this research is the sampling technique, because the data was chosen randomly and the method that will be used to analyze the data is descriptive method because the data will be described descriptively. It will describe the reason why the translator use that kind of equivalence to translate Indonesian into the English language.

Banten is a tool offered by Hindus as a form of gratitude to God Almighty for his bestowed blessings. Every Hindu family is obliged to provide Banten as a means of daily religious ceremonies. Therefore people who can make Banten are needed to meet these needs. That is what prompted Mrs Kadek Suli to open this business. Mrs Kadek Suli's offering business is located at Br. Bhuana Asri Dalung, North Kuta District, Badung Regency. The business, which was started in 2015, provides various Banten needs, such as Canang, Meghan, Sodaan, etc. This service activity aims to help Mrs Kadek Suli know the profit/loss of her business and add to Mrs Kadek Suli's insight regarding the use of mobile applications other than for entertainment, namely Mrs Kadek Suli can also use it for financial records and making monthly reports, Mrs Kadek Suli never takes notes the amount of income or expenditure, so you do not know the profit/loss of the business. Through this service activity, Mrs Kadek Suli can use a mobile application to record her daily income and expenses and make monthly reports, so that you can find out the profit/loss from her business. The stages of this service activity began with outreach to partners about the importance of information technology and financial recording, then continued with a training stage in Android-based financial applications to record income and expenditure and make monthly reports. The final stage of the activity is monitoring and evaluation. The results obtained from this activity are that now Mrs Kadek Suli knows the use of information technology and can use mobile applications for financial recording and monthly reports.
