Enhancing technology be able to create each field easier with no exception in the field of Education. There are a lot of learning media making teaching and learning process work well. One of the media is a virtual media used to do physics experiments. The present study aimed to examine the effect of virtual physics experiments on students’ mastery of concepts based on learning styles. The quasi-experimental study held at one of the state senior high schools in West Nusa Tenggara Province. This study used only a posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two groups, an experimental and a control with 58 respondents consisting of cluster random sampling techniques. The results showed that virtual experiments affect the mastery of the student concepts with auditory and kinesthetic learning style trends, whereas students who have a visual learning style tendency did not affect.
The importance of 21st century teacher skills that must be possessed to minimize learning loss in certain situations (learning loss) becomes a foothold that must be studied, reviewed by all practitioners, lecturers, teachers, and educational institutions. This learning loss phenomenon has become a serious problem for students in the midst of Covid-19 and coupled with the limited internet access in the mountainous region of the southern part of Sumbawa. In addition, the skills of 21st century teachers are the main capital in utilizing information and communication technology. Based on qualitative research with a phenomenological approach that uses Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) analysis shows that (1) 21st century communication skills possessed by educators and students show that understanding the role of multimedia in accessing, managing materials, videos, assignments, attendance, and simulating using various platforms (google meet, google classroom, whatsapps, and email) in blended learning is quite good, (2) the ability to create information in various forms and media; create communication (oral, written and in the form of multimedia); and transfer learning from one domain to another; sharing and communicating digital information is a major detail of information and media literacy skills; communication skills; and self-direction skills possessed by 21st century educators.

Physics learning should be student center. Students used as learning centers impact their understanding of the material or concepts being taught. However, students do not get to learn like that. It impacts students’ low level of understanding of physics concepts, especially the concept of motion. An alternative solution to this is using dominoes and ladders in physics learning. This study examines the effect of using two learning media (dominos and ladder snakes) on the understanding of physics concepts of class X students at MAN 1 Sumbawa. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a posttest-only design. The research sample was obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The number of research respondents was 138 students, who were divided into two experimental groups. Experimental Group 1 used domino media, and Experimental Group 2 used snakes and ladders media. The data collection instrument used was a concept understanding test in the form of filling in and multiple choice given after the treatment was given. The results showed that the domino group better understood the concept than the snakes and ladders group. The parametric prerequisite test shows that the students’ conceptual comprehension data is homogeneous and not normally distributed. The hypothesis test results show that the data’s significance value is less than 0.05. It can be concluded that there are significant differences in understanding the concept of motion between the domino group and the snakes and ladders group. Applying the domino game in physics learning is better than the snakes and ladders game in maximizing the students’ understanding of the concept of motion in MAN 1 Sumbawa.
Education is a benchmark of human resources quality and civilization. It refers to the principles of accountability, transparency, and striving for an integrated tradition among education, research, and community services as well as the growth of academic. "Pancasila" and "krik salamat" are the reference of character development, for example, Sumbawa. Indeed, Sumbawaness view that happiness is from the material and immaterial. It is also the biggest part of the grace of God and honor called endowment. "Krik salamat" provides purposes and comforts for character building, while character is a tool for social changes which emphasizes local values, such as justice, truth, rational and deliberation, mutual respect, mutual cooperation, and kinship.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
