Based on the representative sampling of experimental data and processing of the obtained results, a method of determination of the service life of the instrument for cold sheet s is developed. The method is based on correlation between the magnetic, mechanical and physical chemical (chem ical composition, thermal processing mode, plastic deformation, micro and macrostress, positioning of dislocations, etc.) properties of the die tool materials.
The article considers abilities of magnetic methods of non-destructive testing (in particular, measurement of coercive field) for determination of damaging and remaining life of dies material and equipment. This article describes the experimental determination of principles for the instrument used for hot (bulk) and cold (sheet and volumetric) forging.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
