The article aims to study the effectiveness of teachers’ research activities at pedagogical universities. This indicator is measured by scientific publications that promote scientific research results and the dissemination of scientific flows that affect productivity and effectiveness of scientific activities at universities. The main methods of research are the quantitative analysis of the characteristics of teachers’ publication activity at pedagogical universities, the analysis of bibliometric data and their classification, statistical and comparative analysis. Within the framework of the study, a literature review is presented. The article highlights the results of the of the teachers’ publication activity analysis over the past five years and trends in the development of publication activity. The authors have also provided an analysis of the quality and the level of journals in which authors affiliated with pedagogical universities are published. In addition, the shortage of peer-reviewed journals for educational research publication is revealed. The conclusions are made about the specifics of promoting research of pedagogical universities: orientation of university teachers to publish research results in peer-reviewed journals; formation of collaborations with the leading Russian and foreign scientists or research groups for joint research. The authors also propose measures to eliminate difficulties in the teachers’ publication activities: training in the basics of legal literacy for intellectual activity results protection and promotion, as well as the formation of a support system for scientific and pedagogical staff for publishing research results in peer-reviewed journals.
Introduction. The study of approaches to the development of tools for optimizing the process of searching for scientific and methodological sources in accordance with the purpose of the study or the professional activity of the teacher is currently the most important problem. The scientific community offers various approaches to solve this problem, including cataloging information resources. The purpose of the article is to describe an approach to cataloging scientific and methodological developments on the design and implementation of additional professional programs in the system of additional education. Materials and Methods. In accordance with the purpose of the study, such methods of scientific cognition as the study, analysis and systematization of research papers and methodological developments reflecting current trends in the field of education and relevant in the development and implementation of additional professional programs were involved. Based on the obtained theoretical experience, forecasting and modeling of the educational process in additional education are used for the effective functioning of the educational system. Results. The result of the research is the development of a methodological solution for the formation of an annotated thematic catalog based on the work carried out on the systematization of information and analytical materials of relevant educational content for use in the development and implementation of programs in the field of additional education. The systematized database of information and analytical materials is a resource for designing the conceptual foundations for the development of additional education, the development of educational programs, the organization of research, experimental, innovative activities. Discussion and Conclusions. The importance of this work lies in the creation of a systematized database of relevant reliable scientific and methodological sources for the formation of the educational space and ensuring the effective implementation of additional education. In addition, a generalized approach, a methodological solution to the processes of systematization and cataloging of information and analytical materials in the field of pedagogical science and practice has been identified.
The purpose of the article is to identify some promising ideas and directions for the development of pre-professional pedagogical training of schoolchildren. The main research methods are analysis, systematization and generalization of survey data from representatives of 87 regions of the Russian Federation, study of documents presented on the websites of educational organizations, colleges and universities, conversations with teachers and organizers of pedagogical and psychologicalpedagogical classes and groups. The advanced experience of using an integrated approach to training personnel for the education system is revealed: implementation of the Pedagogical Classes Program; organization of psychological and pedagogical training of schoolchildren with the involvement of pedagogical universities and colleges in the region; development of student’ skills and abilities necessary for activities in the social and pedagogical sphere; training high school students according to the individual curriculum; attracting learners of pedagogical classes to participate in psychological and pedagogical olympiads and competitions of professional skills.
