Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat penilaian guna mengevaluasi capaian employability skills yang diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran aplikasi basis data. Model penilaian yang dikembangkan merupakan kombinasi dari penilaian diri sendiri dan penilaian otentik, diusulkan dengan sebutan model authentic self-assessment. Langkah-langkah pengembangan model authentic self-assessment meliputi penentuan standar, penentuan tugas otentik, pembuatan kriteria, dan pembuatan rubrik. Hasil pengembangan perangkat penilaian terdiri atas: (1) model penilaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah; (2) model penilaian kemampuan mengelola diri sendiri; dan (3) model penilaian capaian pembelajaran aplikasi basis data. Model ini dapat digunakan untuk menilai aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Hasil uji coba meng-indikasikan capaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan mengelola diri termasuk kategori baik, serta kompetensi merancang aplikasi basis data secara konseptual dan logikal termasuk kategori tinggi. Model ini juga telah memenuhi prinsip-prinsip dasar penilaian, yakni prinsip validitas, prinsip reliabilitas, terfokus pada kompetensi, komprehensif, prinsip objektivitas, dan prinsip mendidik.Kata kunci: penilaian otentik, penilaian diri, keterampilan pemecahan masalah, keterampilan mengelola diri, pendidikan vokasi______________________________________________________________ AUTHENTIC SELF-ASSESSMENT MODEL FOR DEVELOPING EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS STUDENT IN HIGHER VOCATIONAL EDUCATIONAbstract The purpose of this research is to develop assessment tools to evaluate achievement of employability skills which are integrated in the learning database applications. The assessment model developed is a combination of self-assessment and authentic assessment, proposed as models of authentic self-assessment. The steps of developing authentic self-assessment models include: identifying the standards, selecting an authentic task, identifying the criteria for the task, and creating the rubric. The results of development assessment tools include: (1) problem solving skills assessment model, (2) self-management skills assessment model, and (3) competence database applications assessment model. This model can be used to assess the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor achievement. The results indicate: achievement of problem solving and self-management ability was in good category, and competencies in designing conceptual and logical database was in high category. This article discusses a model of communitybased tourism management: a stakeholder approach, which is developed based on tourism stakeholder theory of 'Threefolding' and Penta Helix. This is a qualitative research conducted in six CBT villages in five regencies in Bali, Indonesia. Data on CBT stakeholder participation is collected from four types of respondents, namely: CBT management, village authority, community-service provider, and community member. The results show that there is overlapped position of stakeholder elements especially the community and the government. It is discovered that the complex nature of CBT stakeholder structure is rooted from the use of public asset by the CBT. The roles of the stakeholder component are highly varied based on the extent of contribution provided by the respective stakeholder element. There are six elements of CBT stakeholder identified which include: community members, business-community members who provide component of CBT products, government, academics, media, and business partner. The six elements are classified into two types: internal and external stakeholder, and there is one stakeholder (government) that plays role in both external and internal. For ease of operation and legal purposes, it is suggested to place CBT under BUMDES (community business institution) owned by the village. It is expected that the results of the study could provide feedback for the CBT management and the elements of stakeholder to maximize the effectiveness of its function contributing to the success and the sustainability of CBT.
This article discusses accommodation supporting geotourism in Batur Geotourism Site in Bangli Regency, Bali Province in Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to identify the type and standard of accommodation available in Batur. It used a qualitative approach using a combination of interview and observation as data collection techniques. Interviews were carried out with a total of 30 respondents consisting of: the lodging providers, community members and community leaders, which were conducted at the location of each property in the tourist destination of Batur. The results showed that there were four types on accommodation available in Batur, such as: homestay, villa/guest-house, two – three-star hotel, and boutique hotel. It is expected that the results of the study could be used as a reference by geotourism stakeholders in providing accommodation services, especially for the overnight-visitors in Batur. Academically, the implication of the research results enriches the existing studies on tourism, especially those associated with accommodation on Geotourism.
Locals awareness of the importance of forest in sustaining the earth plays an important role in the success of forest conservation. Using forest as an agricultural area without depriving its main function requires awareness of the farmers including the people living around the forest. This study examines the level of awareness of the Youth at Jembrana Regency particularly the elementary, junior high and senior high school students regarding the importance of forest supporting living on earth. This research is a qualitative study exploring the response of the youth to a question: how forest support living on earth? The results indicate three types of awareness: 1) Fully aware of the function of the forest and a harmonious co-exist with forest farmers, 2) Forest for economic benefit, and 3) Only focus on forest issues and conservation. It is expected that the study results could become a reference for people, organization and relevant authority concern regarding the forest conservation particular in Jembrana Regency.
