This study is based on measurements of Southern region Kosovan adolescents. The aim of this study was to examine the stature of adolescents from Southern region as well relationship between arm span and stature in both Kosovar genders. A total measured subject participated in this research was 225 out of which (105 girls and 120 boys), females average of age is 18.36±0.50 years old (range 18-20 years) and for male 18.40±0.55 years old (range 18-20 years). The anthropometric measurements were done by trained people and were taken according to the ISAK manual. Relationship between stature and arm span has been analyzed by the simple correlation coeffi cient at a 95% confi dence interval. The linear regression analysis was carried out to examine extent to which arm span can reliably predict of stature. Statistical importance was placed at level p<0.05. As a result anthropometric measurements for both sexes showed that the average of stature for boys adolescents from Southern region are 178.60±5.73 centimeters and have the arm span average of 180.92±6.92 centimeters, while girls from Southern 165.33±4.45 centimeters tall, and have the arm span average of 165.60±6.03 centimeters. The results have shown that the arm span was estimated as a reliable indicator of stature assessment to the both genders adolescents from Southern region of Kosovo population. This study also confi rms the necessity for developing separate height models for each region in Kosovo.
This research aims at showing the impact of basic morphological characteristics and specific motoric skills in the selection of young football players, specifically in showing the differences between FC Prishtina’s U17 first and second teams. 30 football players participated in this study and were divided into two teams: a first team (n=15) and a second team (n=15). The competitive season performance of football players served as the selection criterion. It was always based on the eye of the coaches. The morphological measurements (body weight and height; BMI) and the assessment of specific motoric skills (speed, agility, and others) were done at the beginning of the competitive season. The research results through T-test analysis have proven differences between the first and second teams (in favor of the first team) in specific motoric skills: sprint 10 m, sprint 30m, specific endurance 300 m, agility without ball 20 m, agility with ball 20 m, but no significant differences between teams in morphological characteristics (body weight and height, BMI). So, based on this study, we can affirm that the selection of more qualitative football players (for the first team) is significantly influenced by specific motor skills (speed, agility, and specific endurance) but not by morphological characteristics (body weight and height, BMI).
Sport in the country is supported through program policies and is also supported in its development even with the difficulties that our society and the sports activity of the country has gone through. The management of sports clubs, federations and sports organizations in general develop their activities facing difficulties of a material nature when it comes to participation in international competitions. Therefore, this paper presents the management of money in sports organizations, infrastructure and other stakeholders. This paper is presented as a model, which has to do with the management, sports, infrastructural capacities that are at the moment, then also the distribution of the budget for federations, clubs, sports infrastructure and other organizations that perform these activities. The management of money for sports in the country has been executed for about 35 sports federations with about 867 sports clubs, where in total approximately 81.041 participate in sports activities, of which 67.583 are men and 13,458 women, and their amount spent was about 14,247,919 euro from the revenues of 18.489.005 euro that were from the country’s government. The management of money for sports in the country would open the way if appropriate measures are taken to increase the budget by engaging serious investors in terms of sports infrastructure in public- private partnerships, where this would then affect the addition of sports facilities and their management as rationally as possible where sports activities would then be increased and then this would also bring incomes. Meanwhile, sports organizations should be further supported in the operationalization of fiscal facilities for companies that are helping clubs and federations that wish to enter sports sponsorship, where this would also be pushing force in the development and improvement of sports and its conditions for the progress of sports activities.

Based on the data of Kosovo Statistical Agency, current condition for sports organizations, clubs, associations, Sports federations as well as sport activities and we will present through the tables underway that will give us a real data for the current condition of the total number of Sports federations, participants in sport activities. For this reason, it is imperative to start with planning and systematic investments in establishing legal infrastructure and structure of sport organizations would be one of the main priorities of the development sports in Kosovo, as another purpose of this paper will be the autonomy of sports and its political neutrality according to international standards, constitutes another priority of the structural organization of organizations or Sports Federations in Kosovo.
A survey was conducted with two sub-samples of respondents, karate athletes representatives (members of the national team) and karate athletes competitors in the kumite (sports fi ght). The survey was conducted on a stratifi ed sample of 32 respondents divided into two groups, 16 karate representatives and 16 karate competitors, males, seniors from the Republic of Macedonia. The main purpose of the research is to determine the differences in the psychological characteristics between the two sub-samples of the respondents. In the research, a total of 13 variables for the assessment of psychological characteristics were applied: for estimation of emotional characteristics six (6) variables, three (3) variables for assessment of the motivational dispositions, for assessment of the specifi c intellectual characteristics (3) three variables and one variable for assessing the general intellectual characteristic. The basic statistical parameters are determined using the basic descriptive statistics for the two groups of respondents separately, while for determining the differences in the arithmetic means of the psychological characteristics, a T-test for small independent samples was applied. From the analysis of the data from the basic descriptive statistical parameters, it was established that in all applied variables, homogeneity of the results as well as normal distribution was obtained, with very small deviations present in two variables. The results of the T -test obtained in the survey show statistically signifi cant differences in the entire analyzed space between the two groups, with the exception of two variables (L -social desire and P -psychoticism), i.e. differences were found in 11 variables from a total of 13 examined variables.
