Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam terhadap tinggi tanaman dan berat segar per rumpun rumput gajah odot (Pennisetum purpureum cv.mott). Penelitian ini dilakukan di CIkajang kabupaten Garut, dimulai bulan Juni sampai bulan Agustus 2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 macam perlakuan dan 4 ulangan sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan yaitu : P₁ = 60 cm x 60 cm, P₂ = 70 cm x 70 cm, P₃ = 80 cm x 80 cm, P₄ = 90 cm x 90 cm and P₅ = 100 cm x 100 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh jarak tanam terhadap berat segar per rumpun tetapi jarak tanam memberikan pengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman dalam setiap petak. The experiment conducted in Cikajang Garut district, start at June until to August 2016. The method used in this experiment is Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consist of 5 treatments and 4 replicated there are 20 unites of study namely : P₁ = 60 cm x 60 cm, P₂ = 70 cm x 70 cm, P₃ = 80 cm x 80 cm, P₄ = 90 cm x 90 cm and P₅ = 100 cm x 100 cm. The result showed : there is not effect of row spacing number of fresh weight per clump but the row spacing has effect are of plant high at the compartment. Indigofera zollingeriana is a feed that has high crude fiber content so it is difficult to use for poultry feed. The fermentation process using fungus is expected to overcome this problem. The study aimed to determine the interaction between dose and fungi kinds, with the length of fermentation on the protein and crude fiber content of I. zollingeriana. Another goal is to determine the optimum conditions for fermenting I. zollingeriana. The method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern. The first factor consisted of 6 levels of the different fungi dosages, namely 0.1%, 0.2% and 0.3% Trichoderma harzianum; 0.1%, 0.2% and 0.3% Aspergillus niger. The second factor was four levels of the duration of fermentation: 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours and 96 hours. All treatments were repeated twice. The experimental data were tested by F test, then Duncan’s analysis was carried out. The results showed that there was an interaction between dose and fungi kinds with the length of fermentation. The optimal condition for fermenting I. zollingeriana with T. harzianum fungus was at a dose of 0.3% and 96 hours fermentation time. This treatment gave the increasing of protein content and reducing crude fiber content.
Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana pengaruh pemberian herbal yang mengandung probiotik dalam air minum terhadap konsumsi ransum segar,konsumsi bahan kering, konsumsi energi ransum, konsumsi protein ransum, dan konsumsi serat kasar ransum pada ternak ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 ekor DOC broiler yang ditempatkan secara acak kedalam 20 kandang, dan setiap kandang terdiri dari 5 ekor ayam. Penelitian menggunakan metode experimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan air minum dan lima ulangan. Perlakuan air minum yang digunakan yaitu air minum yang tidak mengandung probiotik 0% (R1); mengandung vitamin dan antibiotik (R2); mengandung 1 ml herbal yang mengandung probiotik (R3); dan mengandung 2 ml herbal yang mengandung probiotik (R4). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan herbal yang mengandung probiotik tidak berpengatuh terhadap palatabilitas ransum ayam broiler. Kata kunci : herbal, probiotik, air minum, palatabilitas, ayam broiler Abstract The object of study was evaluate the extent of the effect of herbs that contain probiotics in drinking water on feed consumption, dry matter intake, feed energy consumption, the consumption of dietary protein, and crude fiberconsumption in broiler chickens. This reseach used 100 broiler at one days of age, were randomly placed into 20 cages, each cage consisted of five chickens. The methode of research was experimental designed by completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications of drinking water. The treatments consisted of drinking water that does not contain probiotics 0% (R1); drinking water were contain vitamins and antibiotics (R2); drinking water were contain 1 ml herbs with probiotics (R3); drinking water were contain 2 ml herbs with probiotics (R4). Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh jarak pengangkutan terhadap penyusutan dan persentase penyusutan bobot badan ayam kampung super. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama satu hari dari kandang yang berlokasi dari Kampung Patrol, Desa Sirna Galih, Kecamatan Cigalontang, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya ke Kampung Cigangsa, Desa Bojongloa, Keacamatan Cilawu, Kabupaten Garut. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan, yaitu : P1 (Jarak Pengangkutan 10 Km), P2 (Jarak Pengangkutan 20 Km), P3 (Jarak Pengangkutan 30 Km), dan P4 (Jarak Pengangkutan 40 Km), dengan menggunakan 100 ekor ayam kampung super yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam 5 unit keramba yang diisi 20 ekor tiap unit keramba, dan tiap unit keramba dibagi 4 kelompok perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin jauh jarak pengangkutan, maka semakin besar penyusutan dan persentase penyusutan bobot badan ayam kampung super. Sampai jarak pengangkutan 40 km tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penysutan dan persentase penyusutan bobot badan ayam kampung super. Penyusutan dan persentase penyusutan paling tinggi diperoleh pada jarak pengangkutan 40 km yaitu rata-rata sebesar 35,2 gram/ekor dan 4 persen. Abstract This research aim ti study the effect of transport distance on depreciation and percentage weight loss of super native chicken, was conducted on 1 day located from Patrol of Sirna Galih Village, Cigalontang District, Tasikmalaya Regency to Cigangsa of Bojongloa Village, Cilawu District, Garut Regency. The method on this research was experimental method with design conducted Complete Randomized Design, on four treatments and five replications, which as follows; P1 (Transport Distance 10 Km), P2 (Transport Distance 20 Km), P3 (Transport Distance 30 Km), dan P4 (Transport Distance 40 Km), by using 100 super native chickens which were randomly divided into 5 cage units filled with 20 chickens per cage unit, and each cage unit is divided into 4 treatment groups with 5 replications. The results showed that the longer distance of transportation, the greater the lost weight and percentage of lost body weight of super native chicken. Until the transport distance of 40 km does not have a significant effect on lost weight and percentage of lost body weight of super native chicken. Depreciation and the highest percentage of depreciation were obtained at 40 km transport distance, which was an average of 35.2 grams / head and 4 percent. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari substitusi bungkil kedelai dengan Indigofera zollingeriana hasil fermentasi terhadap sifat fisik pellet setelah masa penyimpanan satu bulan. Penelitian uji sifat fisik pellet dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai September 2018 yang bertempat di Laboratorium terpadu Fakultas Pertanian UNIGA. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu Metode Eksperiental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, yaitu : R0 = Bungkil kedelai 26%, Indigofera fermentasi 0%; R1 = Bungkil kedelai 19,5%, Indigofera fermentasi 6,5%; R2 = Bungkil kedelai 13%, Indigofera fermentasi 13%; R3= Bungkil kedelai 6,5%, Indigofera fermentasi 19,5%; R4 = Bungkil kedelai 0%, Indigofera fermentasi 26%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan Indigofera zollingeriana sampai level 26% tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap sifat fisik Pellet setelah masa penyimpanan satu bulan. ¬Kata-kata Kunci :Indigofera zollingeriana, Pellet, Sifat fisik, Penyimpanan Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of substitution of soybean meal with Indigofera zollingeriana fermentation on the physical properties of pellets after a one-month storage period. Research on physycal properties of pellets was conducted from April to September 2018 which is located at the UNIGA Agriculture Faculty Integrated Laboratory. The method used is the Experimental Method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications, that is : R0 = 26% soybean meal, 0% fermented Indigofera; R1 = 19.5% soybean meal, fermented Indigofera 6.5%; R2 = 13% soybean meal, fermented Indigofera 13%; R3 = 6.5% soybean meal, fermented Indigofera 19.5%; R4 = 0% soybean meal, 26% fermented Indigofera.
