This research is based on the importance of listening skill for students at Senior High School especially twelfth grade, because they will face the National Examination. As one of English skill, listening is the most difficult skill to be taught and this process cannot be avoided by all teachers who teach English. Moreover, some teachers still get difficulties how to teach listening to students and this research is focused on Analyzing Teacher’s Difficulties in teaching listening. In this research, the writer used case study and qualitative research method. The subject of this research was one of an English teacher at MA Islahul Aqidah Cikalongwetan West Java. The instruments of this research are observation, interview and questionnaire. In short, the results of this research showed that teacher’s difficulties divided into two factors, those are internal and external factors. Internal factors which came from the respondent himself such as; he feels the difficulties in teaching, preparing listening materials, choosing method, technique, and strategy. External factors are; sound from environment activities like woodcutter machine, module, media problem as cable injector of sound system to laptop, English laboratory, electric off, and the difference of listening materials in syllabus 2013 curriculum and National Examination materials.
This study aims to describe the effectiveness of online learning in Indonesian Language Courses (MKBI). The evaluation uses the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model. This qualitative research design uses descriptive evaluative. Data collection instruments used closed questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentation. Data processing techniques refer to the Guttman scale. The results showed the average value of the context evaluation aspects (0.92), input evaluation (0.85), process evaluation (0.86), and product evaluation (0.90). So, it can be concluded that MKBI's online learning at IKIP Siliwangi is very appropriate and effective.
The covid 19 pandemic outbreak continues to occur in various parts of the world including our country so that we immediately conduct a period of adaptation of new habits on all fronts, including the field of PAUD education, so that learning is all done at home. Learning From Home is carried out by parents, but curriculum, planning and assessment are still provided from the school. The purpose of the training is to know the steps that are used as guidelines in Learning From Home for teachers in the event of a pandemic, provide enlightenment and how to apply this method of devotion participatory approach with oriented teacher participation. The first step of the research is to analyze the situation, identification, objectives, problem solving plan, approach, implementation of training and evaluation. As a result of E-Learning From Home, teachers get new insights and enlightenment, teacher skills increase, media in demand in the form of quota-efficient applications, easy to use, accessible on mobile phones, and do not require a large memory. This devotion will be followed up with the dedication of simple animation making in defense for early childhood
This dedication is motivated by the many legal problems that are motivated by the unwise language on social media. One of them, social media at this time is often misused by humans to spread false news and spread hatred. Not infrequently people who do not have the awareness and knowledge about the use of social media are carried away by the current. As a result, the community will potentially get into legal problems. Currently, the use of social media that contains such violations will be subject to the ITE Law. The purpose of this service is to provide counseling as a solution for people who are considered to still do not have the awareness and language skills on social media wisely, well, and politely. This service method is by providing planned and structured counseling to teachers and students of the Miftahul Ihsan Al Banjary Foundation, Banjar City. The results of observations and questionnaires showed that the teacher and student participants were enthusiastic and gained knowledge about polite language on social media. It is hoped that this activity will provide knowledge and increase the awareness of teachers and students of the Miftahul Ihsan Al Banjary Foundation in Banjar City in wise and polite language on social media.
This research is a quasi-experimental research which aims to examine the knowledge and skills of writing fantasy stories between MTs students who use the Inductive approach with ordinary learning. Researchers accept the condition of the subject as it is. In instrument trial calculations and data processing using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 24 programs. The results showed: (1) The knowledge ability of writing fantasy stories of MTs students whose learning uses an inductive approach is better than those using ordinary learning with an average of 66.98 (experimental class) and 51.40 (control class); (2) The ability of MTs students to write fantasy stories whose learning uses the inductive approach is better than those who use ordinary learning with an average of 74.30 (experimental class) and 53.60 (control class); (3) There is a very strong association between knowledge skills and fantasy story writing skills with a Q value of 0.80; (4) The difficulties experienced by students in completing questions and practical assignments in writing fantasy story texts were generally in the indicators of improving fantasy stories in terms of diction, dialogue sentences, and punctuation errors.
